    Pop being tough coaching Murray.
That's doghouse treatment it seems to me.

Gladly take the W, but as I've been saying don't count OKC as an easy first-round opponent.

Tony was treated like a red headed step child. Pop likes to break you down then build you up like a drill seargent.

I don't care much about the usual Simmons' kobe interpretation on garbage time, tbh.

Simmons playing instead of Anderson had a huge impact. The bench looked capable again.

Old bags always ing up the clock

They were probably the ones that started 0.4 a second late

I'm no fan, either. But did you ever have to run one? Holy , it's a zoo. There's about a zillion things to keep up with, and you can get behind before you even know what hit you. Anybody who can do it and get it right is a true badass.

Nice to see Kawhi mentoring Murray (though not sure why DM isn't in the game)
He missed a floater and Pop janked him? Maybe he ignored the play?

Davis didn't hit his shots but much improved on D and lead the team with a +20. Coincidence or gravity? Or just normal for "New Bonner".

I don't care much about the usual Simmons' kobe interpretation on garbage time, tbh.

If you mean that last play, the shot clock was running out when he got the ball, and he took it right at the defender. Should have gotten a whistle and shots. It can look pretty awkward when the guy gets to mug the ball handler, and the ref swallows his whistle. The game was decided, but he did exactly what he needed to do on that play.

I admit, sometimes he looks awkward, even when he doesn't get fouled though.

No, I mean 99% of the garbage minutes he plays. He just becomes a black hole, if he gets the defensive rebound you can safely bet no other Spur will touch the ball on the following possesion.

one thing happened this game I've never seen before. I've never seen a defender grab a player and get rewarded with a jump ball. Never in my life

He has a good game. His shot was off but I liked the boards and his activity on D. Also no fouling like previously. It bodes well for him he can contribute even when the shot is off. I think he needed a game like this where he did everything else.

LOL. He's just "honing his skills".

Yeah, in garbage time, Simmons always looks like he's saying, "Hold my beer and watch this!"

Give it to Simmons though, he played a huge role in giving the Spurs back the momentum.

    Cheers.

Yeah his grade should be low when you shoot that coldly but in terms of process it was a step forward.

Wish we'd seen more of Murray....
