2019 QB Spencer Rattler (Phoenix, AZ)
Texas football is turning into a fraternity between the former players and the prospective players. I love it.
So hanging out with an old buddy of mine. Evidently his nephew will be a freshmen at Steel High next year.
As I'm told the kid is already 6'6 and weighs 260 lbs he is supposed to be an absolute beast. Those of you that know Steel football keep an eye out for him, as he won't be hard to see.
And my friend and his family are all die hard aggsy![]()
LB Xavier Peters of Wester Chester, OH tells 24/7 he will be officially visiting Texas in the fall.
“One of my latest offers was Texas, so I’m going to set up an official there,” the 6-foot-3.5, 222-pound Peters stated. “You know I go to Lakota West and you know Jordan Hicks of course, he went to Texas, and I’m just thinking, I’m not trying to follow his footsteps, but if Jordan made that official there and made programs there, I can take my official there to see how it is."
“I talked to [Tom] Herman. We were talking, I was scheduling my official, and he told me we are going to connect and bond and he’s going to keep in touch.”
“He’s a good coach. He’s a coach you can go to when you got problems, you need something to talk about. He’s just great.”

my son was on the 7th grade team this year at Dobie (the junior high for Steele) so I'll ask about him. if not, i'll keep an eye out for him next season as he would likely be moved to JV at some point.

A heads up that the state track meet will be going down in Austin this weekend.
Two names who should be there and may make their way to the football offices are WR Brennan Eagles and WR Tommy Bush.
Vegas satellite camp is still happening.
did allen forget about LHN
CH: Do you feel you're under the radar?
JA: "No, not right now. I know UT, our games weren't as publicized as everyone else's but in the end, I think I got my name out there enough."

Quotes from 2019 QB Grant Tisdale of Allen (24/7):
“Coach Beck is a family guy,” Tisdale said. “He wants to win. He’s compe ive. I like coaches like that.”
“I think Texas might be close to offering,” Tisdale said. “(Beck) just wants to build a better relationship and see me throw in person a few times. But I would like to think so.”
“Texas is standing out,” Tisdale said. “Texas is big for me. Texas has that family atmosphere that I love.”

LB Byron Hobbs (Fort Worth Eastern Hills)
Per 24/7, S Caden Sterns of Cibolo Steele will also be in Austin this weekend.
Any details if it's football specific or is it for track like Eagles and Bush? Either way great news but important side note.
