When Donald Trump came to Rancho Palos Verdes six years ago with plans for a world-class golf course,

he was welcomed with open arms.

Then came the dispute with the city over

his plan to name a street after himself.

And then came the battle with neighbors over his 12-foot-tall ficus trees.

Now the mogul is suing the small town, and suing big.

He wants $100 million from a city with an annual budget just shy of $20 million.
In a lawsuit filed this week, Trump accused the city of fraud and civil rights violations, contending that the city was refusing

to allow improvements needed to maintain the “Trump image,”

including a clubhouse terrace and a row of ficus trees he was forced to cut down earlier.

Two federal inspectors warned that “mystery” meat and other unwanted materials will contaminate pork throughout the U.S. under the new meat inspection rules currently being used in a pilot program, NBC News reported Monday.
Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) inspectors Anthony Vallone and Jill Mauer told NBC News that they filed whistleblower disclosure forms with the Office of Special Counsel about their concerns with the reduction of the required number of federal inspectors at plants.
"The consumer's being duped," Mauer said, adding that the meat may be more likely to contain feces, sex organs, toenails, bladders and unwanted hair.

Trump buried by ex-White House official for ‘cowardly’ attack on deceased lawmaker Dingell

former White House Press Secretary Joe Lockhart expressed disgust with Donald Trump after

the president attacked late lawmaker John Dingell (D-MI)

at a rally on Wednesday night by hinting he may be in and lying about his widow, Rep. Debbie Dingell.

Trump’s ugly speech in Michigan on Wednesday night, Lockhart stated,

“There’s just so many levels of it. One of it is how he looks at politics as transactional.

Like he gave her something and

he was shocked she didn’t return the honors on her husband with a vote with him on impeachment.

“Secondly it shows how little he knows about Michigan politics,”

“His, the voters who got him [Trump] Michigan in 2016 were John Dingell Democrats.

John Dingell was a hero of the NRA who was a moderate Democrat, a working-class Democrat.

Under Trump, being an expert in policy, intelligence, or anything else means holding a tenuous position at best,

Over a quarter of all Senate-confirmed defense positions are now vacant, and

there seems little chance that most of those will be filled before the November 2020 election because

(1) Team Trump has no need for policy experts to begin with, and

(2) few sane people would agree to sign up for top positions in the last year of a maybe-survives-impeachment,
