Trump to travel ‘unannounced’ to fake ‘hearing’ on election fraud — after aides failed to talk him out of it
a surprise visit to a fake legislative “hearing” in Pennsylvania,
“Trump is expected to join [Rudy] Giuliani in Gettysburg, PA tomorrow
where GOP state lawmakers are holding a ‘hearing’ on allegations of fraud in the 2020 election, ”
is being held by the Pennsylvania Senate Majority Policy Committee, which is a subset of the GOP caucus. It is not being held at the capitol, but at a Wyndham Hotel.
“The president will take a taxpayer funded trip on Air Force One and
commit police resources to protect him
so he can participate in a staged event
meant to undermine the legitimacy of American democracy rather
than have any actual legal effect,”

Fake man in fake reality show
Seems to be a tic, Trump called the election crooked when he won in 2016.
No big mystery here, Trump is trying to overturn a free and fair election and get the US presidency awarded to him by the courts.

Michigan Republican says Trump ‘did everything possible to lose’
Trump retains a hold that is forcing party leaders to continue down the path of executing his fantasy of overturning the outcome — at their own expense,”
“Frankly, continuing to humor him merely excuses his role in this.
The election wasn’t stolen, he blew it.
Up until the final two weeks,
he seemingly did everything possible to lose.
Given how close it was,
there is no one to blame but Trump.”
the Republicans, by the way, had far more challengers in the room than they were en led to.”
Republican poll challengers had not gone through the proper training and were there for the wrong reasons.
“Reading these affidavits afterward from these Republican poll challengers,
I was just amazed at how misunderstood the election process was to them,”
the way we’ve handled this, it’s become a national embarrassment,”
regarding the early processing of absentee ballots.
We mishandled that this year.
We should have allowed for early processing. We didn’t, and it became a spectacle.

‘Dangerous’:
Mitch McConnell just engineered a lifetime judgeship for an ‘unqualified’ 33-year-old
the “dangerous” record of 33-year-old Kathryn Kimball Mizelle,
one of the final judicial nominees to be forced through by Mitch McConnell and Senate Republicans —
and her complete lack of qualifications for the job, beyond her high-powered conservative connections.
“One of five judicial nominees waved through by the lame duck Senate
in a final vote before lawmakers left town for Thanksgiving, Mizelle’s confirmation is the most galling,”
“Mizelle is only eight years out of law school (University of Florida), and the ABA’s standard for a lifetime seat is 12 years of legal experience.
her only trial experience is as an intern before she graduated from law school.
She will take her seat on the Eleventh Circuit for the Middle District of Florida having
never tried a case — civil or criminal — as a lead attorney or co-counsel.”
Very few judges are ever confirmed to the federal bench in their early 30s,
concerns about Kathryn Mizelle’s ideology are at the core of Democratic opposition, and
they originate with her tenure at the Justice Department in 2017 and 2018 supervising litigation handled by the Civil Rights Division.
It was a time when many voting rights and LGBT protections were being rolled back.”
since 1896,
only one judicial nominee was ever advanced
during a lame duck session of a defeated president.

Trump has used bullying to cultivate an illusion of winning —
but losing is a defining feature of his life
some of the key moments in Trump’s life where he got smacked down by the individuals and ins utions he challenged.
“At the end of the day, Trump at his core is who Trump has always been — a vaudevillian bully,”

Polling Shows Why Trump Will Retain His Bully Pulpit With the GOP Base Even After He Leaves Office - Morning Consult
New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo is standing up for President Donald Trump against attacks by the media.
Cuomo comments came during a radio interview with WAMC on Monday.
He maintained the press has taken on a “nastier tone” when dealing with Trump and was critical of reporters.
“The way they question President Trump at some of these press conferences is just — I’ve never heard that tone with the president,” Cuomo said.
The governor maintained there should be a certain decorum when dealing with the office of the president.
“There are reporters who just are unprofessional, don’t know the facts, and ask really biased questions,” Cuomo said. “You want to say, ‘Well, I don’t like the president and I disrespect him.’ I know, but it’s still the office of the president.”
Fox News noted that Cuomo had his own testy exchange recently with reporters who were confused about New York City’s school closure plan.
A reporter had said he was “still very confused,” leading to Cuomo’s reply: “Then you’re confused!”
And the governor added: "No, [parents are] not confused. You're confused. Read the law and you won't be confused."

"Everybody's trying to straddle the fence and avoid him flipping out."
Aides have said privately they are concerned that
the president might ask them for something that would draw them into the legal battle.

Trump has set a hidden trap for Biden.
It could do great damage.
one of the most thorny problems Biden faces will be how to reverse the failures of the previous administration when it comes specifically to violent domestic extremism and white supremacy.
They include a look at whether federal law needs to be revamped to treat white nationalist and white supremacist mass killings as a form of domestic terrorism.
Another imperative ... will be to take seriously the transnational nature of global white nationalist and white supremacist groups and ideologies.
determining whether this sort of law enforcement activity can be done — and this is absolutely crucial — without violating civil liberties.
Only the pursuit of political aims through violent means should be the focus, and all violent ideologies must be targeted.
where the Trump trap comes in.
a pro-Trump insurgency as active and as angry as possible. There may be all kinds of overlap between that violent white supremacist activity and continued resistance to the Biden administration and anti-virus measures on the invented grounds that his victory was illegitimate.
The trap Trump set is to activate this insurgency,
making it more fiendishly challenging for Biden to make good on his vow to take the white supremacist threat far more seriously than Trump ever did.
Biden will be tempted to retreat in labeling that threat in the interests of “unity.” But that would be a retreat on a core rationale of his victorious candidacy.

Oh an opinion from a liberal
Not shocking they Do not like trump
How does a fact feel?
Actor Scott Baio echoed the opinion of many conservatives and voters for President Donald Trump on Wednesday, fearing the election was stolen and hoping for some ''brave judges'' to stop it.
''I’m very frustrated. They’re trying to steal it,'' Baio said on "American Agenda." And hopefully we can stop it. I’m not a conspiracy nut. I try to be a realistic guy. And I’m just watching the live hearings (by GOP legislators) in Pennsylvania. And it’s pretty damning stuff what was going on.
''Hopefully we’ll have some brave judges who can remedy this, because forget that it’s Trump. It’s the country. And if this doesn’t get fixed, then we've got no country."
Yeah a conservative actor who would think it
Actors can be rubes too.
