These rankings are meaningless, but I find it funny that just last week they had us at #3 and trending downward, when we'd won 5 in a row and 10 of our last 12 by and average margin of 15 ppg. Lol ESPN.
Yep both have been recalled

I have a feeling we are going to see Danny hit 5+ 3's.
Man I hope you're right. He's beyond overdue for a big game offensively..
here's Stein's...
Spurs
Warriors
Cavs
Rockets

I think Warriors should be ranked number one still - people lost their minds over KD being injured (it is a big deal) but GS is still an elite team and until there is truly a stumble and/or SA really starts playing better GS should remain one.
However, if SA has a great week this week vs HOU, OKC and GS? That changes everything.
I better not see mini spur raider21 stink up this gt.![]()
Warriors are 1-2 since KD went down, and that win came against the Knicks by single digits
Spurs deserve to be #1 tbh
ing ridiculous...
Come on guys. You know Eric Gordon and Lou Williams will feast on the Spurs.
40 points between both, minimum.
Watch out for Ryan Anderson too.
Exactly. Remember, Power Rankings are based on the team's weekly performance. Losing to the Wizards and the Bulls in a row should not be over a team that has won 7 straight games.

Spurs by 7. Just contain Ariza, Anderson, and Beverly while Harden scores 40. Gordon hasn't played as good as he did to start the season in well over a month while the Spurs simply don't have anyone to guard Williams off the bench.
we haven't had a meltdown in a while, tbh... either tonight or over the weekend against the Dubs are good chances...
I agreed with everything except for the last two sentences. Durant being out makes Saturday's game just as meaningful as the first game of the season with Simmons' fluke game.
EXCEPT in the standings, lol It also gives us the tiebreaker over the Dubs if we finish with the same record.
this +1000, it's funny how the rankers will use one argument to keep their sacred cow on top one week and then go against it the next week to keep their sacred cows on top. One week recent play trumps overall record and head to head when it means keeping/putting the Cavs over the Spurs one week then the very next week the Dubs are still #1 even though they have lost two games in a week and the selfsame Spurs have won 7 in a row. smh. However when the Spurs have the best record and the longest hot streak what then??? Probably woulda coulda shoulda about injuries.
To be fair, ESPN has the Spurs as #1.
They lost to the Pacers... i'm sure we can lock this win
