true, tbh... but that's playerfans for you... i'm talking actual cliff jumping after a regular season loss, where Darius Beiber actually looks like a homer...
Where have you been Nono? There's this thread that was started a day ago en led "Is Tony Parker injured, tbh?" Pretty big meltdown going in there tbh.

Telling game right here. If we win this one, it means the team is good for real and will definitely make it to the WCF presenting a puncher's chance against the Warriors. If not, then we are much closer to the Rockets and Clippers than to the Warriors, and could easily lose in the secomd round. Folks act like the RS doesn't matter, but it does, specially certain games.
Yeah, this game will make or break our season... no hyperbole there![]()
Spurs players are going to score some buckets tonight. Yes, Houston will score, but they will also surrender on defense. Don't get too excited if someone other than Kawhi and LMA breaks 20 points.
No, it won't make or brake it, team/roster/season is already made, tbh. What this will do is tell us what they are made for: to fight in the WCF or in the second round.
No... not really.
But I know you are just like that, so okay. Have fun.
So you really think one regular season game determines whether we're legitimate or just 2nd-round fodder? That seems a bit naive tbh.
lol I remember you. What did we argue about that one time?
Maybe...
I generally like your thoughts though.
I think we've been generally cordial, for the most part.
Yeah, I do think there are games that, considering the moment on the season and the rival, give you hints about how things will turn out on the playoffs.
So what does it mean if we beat Houston tonight and then get blown out by 25 against GS later in the week? What does it mean if we lose to Houston tonight and then crush GS by 30?
I mean, yeah, certain regular season games are more important than others...but to imply that one regular season game can determine our playoff fate is pretty hyperbolic.
Damn right.
A single, regular season game does not quite equate into a playoff series.
Peeps remember when OKC dominated the Spurs in the reg? And then the Spurs defeated them in the playoffs? Why, I think that was their championship season!
Wow! What a memory I have!
Yup, I also remember Ibaka being injured... and him coming back and killing it too. and the Spurs still killed them, in the End.
I put very little concern in opposition during the reg, I put all concern into the Spurs and how they are doing on a consistency level.
And how synergistic the D is.
That is the Key.
Good. For a moment, I thought he'd be called Traveler of the Week.
Hopefully Deadman shows up tonight. He's been invisible for awhile..
ALL regular season games are important. Did 2015 not teach you anything when the Spurs dropped from the #2 seed to the #6 seed on the last day of the regular season and well, you know that turned out. If only the Spurs could have had back some of those meaningless regular season games... @Brooklyn, vs LALakers, vs Memphis 3ot, vs Portland 3ot, vs Detroit
, vs Cleveland, and @NYKnicks
. Most of those games came down to missed free throws. Winning just one of those games could have changed everything including a first round date with Houston at home instead the Clippers on the road..
I'm with you here. It's a big game indeed! I think we will play with focus and verve!
I don't think the Rockets will lose by 30....probably pretty bad loss for them, but not quite that bad.![]()
Can't stand that mush mouth front runner Shannon sharpe
I've watched this play like the Zapruder film and think compared to Ray Allen in 2013 he is glued to the the hardwood!![]()
That's not really what DAF was talking about, though. We're not talking about seeding here. Obviously one game can change seeding and affect a team's playoff fate...I'm not denying that. What I am denying is the idea that a single regular season game can show whether a team is legitimate or not. The Spurs blowing out Houston tonight doesn't suddenly make them le contenders, and the Spurs getting blown out by Houston tonight doesn't suddenly make them pretenders.
You can have a great/bad shooting night, and then it doesn't matter, tbh... one game never tells you that much
I doubt any of those two scenarios materialize, tbh.
For once, if we beat the Rockets handedly tonight, it could mean that we will have the matchup advantage over them in the playoffs.
