It's such a dense game.
You checking P3 Reload? This is the one game in the modern series that desperately needed an update and thankfully it's getting a remake.
You played P5R or P4G yet?
This is going to be an expensive next few months between Spiderman 2 next month, Like a Dragon Gaiden in November, Like a Dragon Infinite Wealth in January, then Persona 3 Reload in early February, and finally Final Fantasy VII Rebirth in late February.

Looks like Persona 3 Reload is coming to Game Pass at least, so that'll save me $70.
Really wanted to get MK1 but I've read that cutscenes are locked at 30fps on PC and they want you to pay $110 to get all the ing characters when Quan Chi and Ermac should be standard. What a cash grab man. Lol 30fps on PC in 2023. Guess I'll wait for a sale
Oh , Like a Dragon Gaiden is coming to Game Pass on Day 1. Definitely going to play it there then.
How is Microsoft making money these days? They’re putting pretty much every new game on their platform day 1 for free if you have the membership. That’s insane.
It's the amazon model where all they care about early on is growth. They have no shot of ever making money unless Game Pass becomes huge.
MK1 has a pretty good and funny story line. My lady beat it the other day. I just sit back and sketch for clients while she plays her silly games.
Good graphics on the PS5 and good story/directing/camera/humor.
Cyberpunk 2.0 is ing dope. The redesigned skill trees make a lot more sense and have more variety.
ive been in a degenerate call of duty loop for a while now. but with kiddo #2 due soon and not being able to reliably play for 20+ minute uninterrupted stretches anymore, i will come to appreciate the pause button... time to start attacking the single player backlog i've had for a while now.
Delving back into CP2077 for Phantom Liberty. I started a new character awhile back so trying to do the main missions you need to do to change the ending of the main story before jumping into the expansion. Update 2.0 going smoothly so far
Starfield got old pretty quick. All the clowns claiming this is a 10/10 masterpiece..![]()
it was fun for the first 20-30 hours, until it becomes very apparent how shallow the game is. Waaaay too much menu navigation. Space exploration is essentially non-existent, your ship is basically a vehicle to allow you to fast travel. the space combat is laughably bad and really unsatisfying. Constant inventory management. most planets are all the same, barren with a few stupid alien animals here and there and maybe a mining outpost filled with raiders. rinse & repeat.
it really is just a worse Fallout 4 in space. idk why people are acting like this is some kind of groundbreaking le from Bethesda but it's not. The graphics are ass for a 2023 game. I really, really wanted to like but even the base building is unsatisfying and that was one of the best parts of Fallout 4 imo. Glad this was on game pass so I didnt actually have to buy it. 6/10
I’m very impressed on how CD Project Red turned this game around. They salvaged a broken piece of and turned it into more than a decent experience. Good one guys.![]()
I was ready to unbox my mint Series X to try it out, but after looking a few videos of gameplay and noticing is a loading screen fest and repe ive bull , I passed.
LOL you'll have to save it for blade 2
Damn I really thought Microsoft was going to turn it around this gen but instead they're just buying good devs and dragging them into mediocrity. ty game from Arkane, ty game from Bethesda, both on Microsoft's watch. Watch Elder Scrolls VI be underwhelming too when it launches next gen.
If it launched in this state this year, it would probably be my GOTY. It's still IMO the greatest graphical achievement in gaming history by a healthy margin, the characters are varied and interesting, the missions are ing spectacular, and it's just a completely different experience to launch day. With the new skill trees it's legitimately a fun, almost transformative RPG, the way it allows you to craft a character is incredibly empowering when you start chaining abilities together and laying waste to groups of enemies.
So better than Baldur's Gate 3?
I think most people would say no, as BG3 has had incredibly glowing reviews and also launched in a much more complete state than CP2077 did, so it deserves praise for that.
Personally, though? 2077 is much more immersive to me. BG3 is fantastic but frankly it's difficult for me to dedicate enough time to progress in it because it moves slowly and is so incredibly dense. At some point I'll probably be able to devote enough time to really enjoy it but, not yet.
To be fair, this has been happening before the acquisition, tbh, at least with Bethesda...

Not only that but it's just not creative. The "Starborn" have powers similar to the shouts in Skyrimthey couldn't even think of a better name besides slapping "born" at the end of it.
Lies of P is pretty good if you like Soulsborne games...
Same with Nba2K24, it's okay. Basically same as the last 15 yrs. However, if I had a 4k tv the graphics would be better on my PS5. Right now it looks just like PS4 graphics without that 4k tv.
