Well me, he redeemed himself.
Well me, he redeemed himself.
Sorry man, only Red Sox and Rangers fans can compare a game to 6.
Nah, I think they'll want to bring Springer with them to LA.
God damn this is all falling apart.
Jesus Christ this ing game.
CORREA!!!!!!!
At least the Spurs got 6'd by LeBron. Try getting 6'd by Corey Brewer and Josh Smith.
God damn this must be a ridiculous game to be at.
at all the re ed dip povertyball fans who insist that this sport is "boring."
Man that ain't 6'd. Blowing a trip to a conference final is compared to blowing a le.
Ugh I'm glad I'm a casual, I don't know how I'd sleep tonight if I was a hardcore Dodger fan like mid.
For a franchise like the Clippers it might as well be.
Gurriel is thanking Manfred right about now![]()
At least he has the Doyers going home for the last two games, with Hill on the mound Tuesday. This was a must-win for Houston; if they didn't this series was 100% over.
The fake outrage and ass pain over his "gesture" is ridiculous and was pushed along by LA media tbh.
Tbh, it was racist as , but if they didn't suspend Alomar in the playoffs for literally spitting on an umpire, they weren't going to suspend Gurriel in the playoffs for that.
I'm cool with it. If we lost something like 8-7, I would be pissed, but we can't simply stop the Astros bats. It's obvious 4 and 7 runs weren't going to be enough tonight. We had a halftime lead basically and then just got blown out in the 2nd half by the better team on this night (also wonder if the complaints about the WS baseballs are valid. Don't care, though. Both teams are playing with the same ball, but offense like this is unusual).
Well then don't suspend him. Or...suspend him now. A deferred suspension made literally the least sense of all the options.
Should've probably just been a fine.
The PR disaster would have been a million times worse for the league if Gurriel had only been fined and not suspended at all.
Should've taken Pea out here. .
I don't know about that. Is there precedent for suspending over something like this? In the dugout, caught on camera?
Suspending him next year defines the incident as suspension-worthy but makes MLB look wishy washy for delaying it.
Fine him a good chunk and establish that as the punishment, it's much more easily forgotten next year.
If calling a pitcher a now can get you suspended for 2 games, I don't see how you can just fine Gurriel tbh
The final score of this game is gonna be 17-15 or some .
