Unfortunately its horrible enough to keep the Rangers dead last in the division. Can't believe the FO was incompetent enough to let the bullpen get this bad. It was terrible last year (along with starting pitching) but it's gotten to the point where where incompetence is the only thing to blame.

I haven't watched any games this year due to a conglomerate of excuses so can somebody be so kind as to give me a quick rundown of wtf is going on? Since when did the roles reverse and why are the Astros already 100 games ahead of us?

No Beltre (heart and soul of the team) Bullpen constantly s the bed no matter how many runs we are ahead. Jon Daniels might be out of magic wands.

Also, the Astros' offense is red-hot at the moment. They may have found the next Jose Bautista in Marwin Gonzalez.

    Some drama cooking.

Billy Hamilton and John Ross (fastest ever 40 at the combine) doing a race for charity:

    http://www.cbssports.com/mlb/news/re...als-john-ross/

They're doing the 40. Don't like Billy's chances. NFL players are the fastest sprinters in ball sports and exclusively train for the 40. But if Billy pulls off the upset, I'm going nuclear on the TicTacTrot crew, eh ClipperNation?

The Rangers going so hard after Napoli was the final nail in the coffin to show they weren't serious about improving the team. I think the main ploy this year is to trade Darvish/Hamels for the biggest bidder, let the young guys get a ton of reps, and try to find a couple diamonds in the rough. Or maybe Daniels is just a complete re (which I've thought for years).

At this point prolly the Padres just because I can't see the Rangers doing anything with their pathetic bullpen while the Dads could challenge for a WC if their young guys continue to blossom. Besides, Rangers have had their chances in the postseason the past few years and choked massively.

The Padres managed to do something I haven't seen before. Allow a guy to tag up and score on an infield bunt pop up

Yeah, that's definitely a first. There's pretty much no way that would ever happen in a major league game unless the stick who catches it turns his back to the runner and zones out which is pretty much exactly what happened

For 's sake, when did the Astros turn into the 2007 Patriots?

We've won 9 in a row and gained like half a game while still being 1000 games back in the standings
