Will Igu make us better? I just can't see him giving us an edge over the Warriors, and we already have our Bron stopper.
He seemed to shoot pretty well against the Cavs, making big time shots. He also guards 4 positions, runs the floor, always plays hard, is still athletic which would get the fatties out of their seats and actually cheering in SA. Plus you weaken the Warriors just slightly. He'd be the best backup Kawhi ever had. Oh, and there's that Warriors insider intel.

Why do I have a nagging su ion that he's trolling us with no real intent on coming here (not that I'm sure I'm for it myself)?
Well...Yeah he makes the Spurs better. And, no, nothing makes you better than the Warriors at the moment.
Gasol opted out maybe to allow them flexibility. Had he opted in we'd be worse.
Manu may come back, and TP obv is coming back. But LMA can be moved. They can def make changes
Doubt he comes here either, but it's a fun thought.

wonder if he will dump a massive amount of info at 12:01. His Twitter is going to be crazy at that time.
I'd prefer Gay over Igu, TBH.
Would much prefer Gay over Iggy. At least Gay would address a perceived need and play the four. Of course, contract really defines my interest in either guy. Gay as a piece to add to the forward rotation makes sense. Iggy as the highest-paid guard on the team really, really doesn't.
Finally a smart move by ESPN. He'll draw in some viewers all by himself.
He'll also be 34 next season. I'm just not a fan of sloppy seconds and it appears the Warriors, at least to this point, are content with letting him walk.
I'll take either, tbh. Kawhi needs a real player backing him up.
According to tspence, Spurs are planning to heavily pursue Kyle Lowry and/or Gordon Hayward
He's not the best option, but still decent. I wouldn't be too upset. He brings fire which this team needs. Seems like the only guys who brought it in the WCF were Simmons, Manu, and Murray.
Gay would play the four in the SL, I guess.
Even with the Anderson dig ignored, no max player needs a $15-20 Million player backing him up. I have to think the Spurs are willing to give AI an compe ive offer if he's letting them meet with him first.
LIES! T Spence has been dormant...Probably waiting to drop some bombs tonight.

It remains to be seen how much he'll be offered. 20 million seems way off...
I love your optimism. That was the number being thrown around earlier in the week.
I thought the Iggy talk was just that. Must be serious if they're meeting him first.
Tspence communicates in ways other than twitter, ya know
Well, if you're right, I say no too.![]()
Not against stacking up on long wings and rolling with 6-5 Murray. I think both Iggy and Gay would flourish in SA. It all depends on the yearly salary and length of the contracts though, obviously.
