Lmao
This will not end well. Michael Jordan will be roasting Dwert on every opportunity during practice for being a mental midget.
Literally the end of Dwight's career lmao.
Lakers dodged a bullet
damn, traded for miles plumlee. surprised the clippers, spurs or cavs didnt made offers? asking price was basically a body with a salary to match lol
I live in Charlotte so I follow the Hornets a lot. The way the Hornets are currently constructed they were not going anywhere. Even with this trade they are still not going anywhere from being a typical 40-47 win team, but at least with Dwight they will be more entertaining from a comedy perspective. I might actually go to a few games this year.
good move tbh he'll play better here than the white scrub dumblee with few expectations too
Not a bad deal for either teams. Simply funny because of how far Dwert has fallen.
Agreed. Hornets didn't really give up much for him. Plumlee is garbage and Belli can be replaced. Charlotte is a great place for guys to rebuild their careers. This will be the first time in a longtime that Dwight will play with low expectations.
Jordan will destroy what's left of his psyche
lol bobcats
Clippers fan since '98 baby but you do your thing.
If you're a contender or close, there's no way you can trade for the NBA-equivalent of Terrell Owens in his twilight years. Even for the Clippers/Cavs, the upgrade is very marginal and not worth the headache
And now we're all glad he didn't.
Miles ing Plumlee is the men.
On August 2, 2016, Plumlee re-signed with the Bucks on a four-year deal worth $52 million when he had 5.1 ppg, 3.8 rpg in 14.3 mpg
then
On February 2, 2017, Plumlee was traded, along with cash considerations, to the Charlotte Hornets in exchange for Spencer Hawes and Roy Hibbert.
and now this
On June 20, 2017, Plumlee was traded, along with Marco Belinelli and the 41st overall pick in the 2017 NBA draft, to the Atlanta Hawks in exchange for Dwight Howard and the 31st overall pick in the 2017 NBA draft.
Living the life
Jordan won the out of that trade.
Joke about him all you want but in his prime, he was easily a top 3 player in the league and prolly top 3 defensive of all time. It was predictable that his game wouldn't age well.
It's quite simple really
Dwert in yesterday's NBA =
Dwert in today's NBA =
