Marcus Denmon-Jack McClinton starter kit...wasted pick...
Yep. Seems like another "He had a great story and has good character" pick.

Good question. Must've liked his versatility as a PG/SG. He can play though.
Yes but hart is bigger and shoots slightly better, and i believe defends better

    Much better than McClinton.

Thinking back on McClinton, who never had a hope of playing in the NBA ... RC called him the best shooter in the draft. Also drafted that year? Steph Curry.

I mean, Spurs need more versatile athletes and they get an old (for college) PG who's not really versatile nor that athletic from what I'm reading. I mean, I get the roster is in a pinch with guard (TP injured, Mills maybe gone, Simmons may be gone, Danny may be gone) but man.

Spurs took forever to make this pick too. Front office must've been in turmoil debating who to draft.

So the Spurs are keeping Parker, signing Paul and burning another roster spot on a young PG while they are already trying to develop another young PG.

    Makes sense.
But gotta get rid of Green instead of Tony. You can't possibly tell me that an injured third PG is less important than a starting two-guard.

I will say, many of us have been ing about needing more creating from the guard position. This guy could help with that.

Spurs are light years ahead of the rest of the league. Small ball? We're gonna resign Patty and roll out Micro Ball.
    Paul - PG
    Patty - SG
    White - SF
    Murray - PF
    Leonard - C

So we got our Swaggy P tbh
not even close to Swaggy P. Swag had star written all over him and could pull up over anybody. He was Arenas basically without the guns in the locker room. This guy is a slow, lazy cow.

Neal was undrafted IIRC and much better shooter (faster release, more range, definitely more clutch even though we haven't seen this kid play)

I'll give him a shot. The last three drafts haven't been bad. Kyle Anderson, Dejounte Murray, this dude. They're not bad picks at #29 especially given the ty talent coming out of the NCAA and International levels right now.

Went with a guard and passed on Hart, Frank Jackson, Mason, and Evans. I hope they see something we all don't.

Semi Ojeleye and Frank Mason III will torch this poor guy for 4 years until he's gone to China with Fathead

God damn it Buford. He was a solid 2nd rnd pick, NOT first dip
