Damn quite a history between Juve-Real..

Most recurrent match-up in European Club compe ions:

1- Real Madrid vs Bayern (24 meetings)
2- Real Madrid vs Juventus (19 meetings)
3- Barcelona vs AC Milan (17 meetings)
4- Barcelona vs Chelsea (16 meetings)

As long as it is not a Final, Juve got a chance..

The last time they met Liv destroyed City

    Although City was probably coasting

It was more about what City did to lose the game rather than what Liverpool did to win it. Stones was directly responsible for two of those goals (he's since been benched) and Ederson was directly responsible for the decisive goal with a very poor clearance. Aguero's game tying header sailed inches past the right crossbar. A 4-3 defeat is what you call total destruction?

If Liv wins against city, Salah should get players of the year honours.

Not That stupid overrated system player de bruyne
. Lol aguero is gonna end the season as the 2md best scorer and this cuck is getting all the credit. Unbelieavble.
You don't know what the you're talking about. Without De Bruyne and to a lesser degree Sterling, City can't score. He's the single most important player on the team, if not the entire EPL. Think of what Ginobili was to the Spurs in his prime and then you'll understand the importance of De Bruyne.

    Lmao..

Kane and Salah are litterally the two best individual players in the EPL and ots not even close.

De bryune is not even involved in most city goals.

Barca with the easiest draw of the quarters per par

First an eplol team, now an italian team not named Juventus. Midget getting his stat pad on to make up for his subpar KO stage numbers

    Pathetic

Barca gets is tougher in the quarter finals then most in recent years. They've had to play Juventus, PSG, Man City.

    Give it a rest

They also came off playing Chelsea

ty over liverpool ............ hipster always chokes in key matches + large difference in talent

When Madrid played Man City two years ago it was part of the, so called, "easy" route Madrid had.

I just hope Sevilla puts a good fight against Bayern, same for Liverpool.

You guys had an injured man city in the semi finals whereas we had to face them as reigning EPL champs in round of 16.

Jodelo, I’ll also be the first to tell you that I ed like crazy with Madrid’s 2016 run, however you guys went through an absolute gauntlet last year and this year in fairness you had a tough group and tough opponents in back to back knockout rounds.

I have a weird feeling that this is going to be the season our teams meet each other in CL, the question is whether it’s the semifinals or the finals.

too bad both bayern and city have the first match at home... the bigger name team controls how the game is whistled, especially at home.

son I already bet on penaldo & co way back in december when it was obvious that they would turn the ship around. They're a classic cup team : super-talented, super-experience, thugball champs and no oder objectives. Even with the bad draws you know these s will somehow win.

I agree, I feel like barca would have a better chance at beating them in two legs instead of one but Madrid always get a hard on for CL to their credit

It will be difficult for Madrid to win Juve another time, but they have done that with Atlético. Another small advantage is that the second leg is at the Bernabéu. So it's not out of question, but it's far from sure.

As a matter of fact, people give little chance to Roma or Sevilla, but they could obviously pull out a surprise. I mean, who would bet Roma was to leave Atleti out of the Champions or that Sevilla would eliminate Moi's United.

Basically, at this stage there are no weak teams. It's just few games anyone could win.

That being said, Barça is showing outlandish consistency. The only way they lose this Champions is a sudden dip in form.

sons real always score goals even if they concede. The pressure will be on juventus to not concede, not the other way around. It's actually not horrible draw for real tbh.

Barca is still lacking a bit in attack, and it was a bit worrisome how kuany pockets of space hey have to Chelsea but they are still one of the best defensive sides in Europe.

If Dembele can continue to get comfortable that can allow Barca to play a 4-3-3 and get some width but again, I do worry that they struggle to create chances at times.

Barca is doing just fine with the 4-4-2. No reason to go back to the 4-3-3 and start suffering on defense like last season.

They did a 4-4-2 in the first leg against Chelsea and looked horrible in attack, they couldn't generate anything outside of a mistake from Chelsea despite dominating possession.

I know Chelsea had to be more aggressive in the second leg due to the away goal, but having that extra winger was massive for them.

They played 4-4-2 at Camp Nou too, tbh. Of course playing Dembele isn't the same as playing Paulinho, but the scheme was the same.

It felt like they started off as a 4-3-3 but I'll need to watch again. I do think they reverted to a 4-4-2 once Paulinho came on.

The issue with Dembele is that he leaves a lot of space behind him since he's so new but his tackl eon Alonso was incredible.

What do you make of Barca's chances against Man City if they were to play each other in CL?
