mono with his own version of the conservative persecution complex he loves to always laugh about tbh

imo he should take a couple of hours off, have dok mix in a few more posts, they can 69 each other like they always do, and then at least mono wont look like the crazy guy yelling that everybody else is crazy.

still watching gifs of the tuck like it’s the Zapruder film
blaming your ty franchise being ty for 20 years on one play
it was a botched call. those happen all the time. what makes it frustrating is when people still pretend it wasn't a botched call.

there's no reason why a saints fan would ever have to show a video/gif of the PI, because it was a clear as day blown call. nobody is gonna say "nah, i can see why they didnt throw a flag."

and i dont think i ever blamed the raiders downfall on the tuck. its ok, keep reaching. at least dok popped so you can high 5 each other

If Mahomes wanted to get a chance, he shouldn't have let it go to OT in the first place. Maybe they should've went for a Hail Mary to win it at the end instead of going for the field goal tbh.

Exactly why the ot rules are ridiculously stupid.

College ot may not be perfect but it's very fair.

No, definitely not, but I also never thought it was the horribly unfair system that people started making it out to be around 10:00 PM Sunday night. I just don’t want the college system in the pros, I think that’s a ridiculously gimmicky system. Maybe a system where both teams get a shot at the ball, and no kicking scores are allowed. So you have to play for a TD and you have to go for two.

Sounds good to me as long as Patrick would get a shot too.

People have been saying it's a bad system for as long as I can remember

Back when a FG could end the game in sudden death, yeah everyone complained, and that system lasted for decades. But after 2009 when they changed the rules, I heard almost no complaints until the Patriots started benefiting from it.

    The game itself is fine

But 3 hour broadcasts for 10 minutes of actual action?
    GTFO with that

    commercials with football breaks
And the commercials lecture how evil of a man you are

I think it’d be fine the way it is if you just gave both teams chances. If you’re able to kick a field goal and then hold the other team to no points when they get the ball that should be enough to win.

I like the NFL's OT rule ever since they got rid of kicking a FG to win on the first possession. No matter what whoever wins the coin toss gets a huge advantage unless the OT is just a second full game.

Sudden death overtime only makes sense in sports in which scoring is inherently rare and anemic, like soccer.

For football, especially in the playoffs, there should be no sudden death. Even the worse teams in the NFL are going to score 14-20 points most games. And in the playoffs, those bad offensive teams won’t generally be there. It doesn’t take much to score a FG. No sudden death. No first touchdown wins. Just add another timed extra period and play until 0:00. Don’t want to make it a full 15, fine. Make it 10 minutes. But sudden death doesn’t make sense in a sport where scoring is not rare or difficult.
I’m with you on your last two sentences. Just make it an extra quarter or 10 minutes...if it’s still tied THEN go to sudden death (in the playoffs). You’re right in the fact that scoring is too frequent to do sudden death. I think the main argument is that the NFL game is too taxing, but plenty of OT’s go 10+ minutes as is.

failure to use replay on judgement decisions ever since replay was available.
    Like the Saints - Rams.
Take 15 seconds in the replay booth and move the F on.

Having an extra period would be fair, I’d just make it 15 minutes instead of 10. At only 10 minutes you’re more likely to have a scenario where one team gets 2 possession and another team only gets 1. If it’s still tied after that then I’d go to soccer style sudden death where each team gets 5 chances to score from the 5 yard line and whoever gets in the endzone the most wins.
