And certainly not worth the second overall pick.
That sounds like a ROLL player to me. Not the superstar Laker fan are claiming he will be.
And certainly not worth the second overall pick.
This statement coming from a Kobe fan is just comical.
Fat fangers is big mad. If IT were better than Lonzo, he'd be starting and not the backup. Randle is gonna be nice. Who do you think is setting him up (besides Ingram) for all those easy looks?
It's not Zo's job to get 25 ppg. His job is to get the ball to his scorers so they can do what they do. Saw it just last night. He made a steal, had a breakaway, glanced over at Kuz (a scorer) and gave him the ball instead of easily scoring himself. Scorers love to be fed. He'd be averaging well over 10 apg if his teammates could make their shots. This, as a damn rookie.
Even during his infamous 6-24 Finals game, he had a game high 15 rebounds and played great defense. Kobe's hardly 1 dimensional. -10 points son.
Did you watch the game or were you box score pimping? Honest question.
IT was not the only Cav traded dad, they were full of like Derrick Rose, Shumpert, Crowder wasnt working and also they had that corpse called Wade.
Why you prefer some scrub making 8 points over a guy making 29 from the bench.
IT had a wonderful season in Boston, is Longonner doing the same for LA?
Where did I call him a superstar?
I like to think about Longturd as a glorified Nando De Culo.
So you're cool with drafting a role player with the second overall pick?
I didn't call him a roll player either. That's you classhles
Hes a megastar .. #BBB
That's what he is, so...
The Los Angeles Lakers have been literally unstoppable since Lonzo Ball returned from a lengthy MCL sprain recovery. The team has won four straight games since Ball started playing again, albeit without him suiting up for their win against the Sacramento Kings.
Since Ball’s return, the Lakers are outscoring teams by 23.5 points per 100 possessions while he’s on the floor and 10 points per 100 possessions when he sits. Meaning, the Lakers have still been solid while Ball is out and have made legit strides coming out of the All-Star break, but they’ve also been absolutely steamrolling teams when he is in.
Boxscore watchers might minimize Ball’s impact on the Lakers’ win over the Miami Heat on Thursday night as he put up just eight points on 3-of-5 shooting.
But the rookie point guard also dished seven assists, snatched eight rebounds and swiped six steals in a typically well-rounded game for the young floor general.
Ball is the type of player whose value is difficult to judge at first glance. His shot is wonkier-looking than some taped-together MacGuyver invention, he doesn’t have an ankle-breaking crossover and he isn’t an athlete that jumps out of the gym.
What he is, as cliche as it’s become to say, is a winner. Statistics show the Lakers never play faster than when Ball is on the floor, and never play slower than when he sits. The team also never assists on less of its buckets (55.5 percent) when Ball sits and never assists more (60.7 percent) than when he’s on the floor.
So they're outscoring opponents by double digits regardless of whether or not Lonzo is playing... remind me again why Lonzo's getting the credit?
How fast Ball thinks, how quickly he passes and how he almost never reads things the wrong way make the Lakers a better team every single time he steps on the court.
What’s been true almost all year outside of a few duds was true once again against the Heat, and maybe if Walton and other Lakers continue to point it out, people will start to notice how much better Ball makes the Lakers go.
So the Lakers should straight up suck donkey balls when he is out? NVM, I know the answer![]()
Lakerfan just thinks he is better than he is. Randall has been the difference. They started winning before he came back. Long before.
AMazing eh? Mavs, kings, hawks. All on fullout tanking mode. Only non horrible team is the heat, and you are acting like they made the playoffs for the first time in five years or something.
Kobe did a number on that franchise.
Yeah, the number 5
I said Kobe, not Shaq and MVPau.![]()
