How is Laker fan more optimistic than Spurs fan about this year's chances...? Baffling...
Lakers North are without Chef. He is the key to their success. If he don't play, they lucky to win 2 games vs CIA Pop. And if Kiwi pulls a Willis Reed, fugidabou . Spurs in 6 - may be 5.
When they meet Pringles in WCF we know how that will end. Pringles = Pop's beotch. We know this, Spurs know this, and Pringles know this. Spurs in 6.
Finals vs the Kang. Cavs have at least 5 regular rotation players with either very limited or no playoff experience. Spurs have some TOSBs but in the end their experience is too much for the Kang - who averages another triple dub in the Finals...in another losing effort (3-6). Spurs in 5.
#6 is coming this year and it pisses me off to the highest degree of pisstivity thinking about it. SMH

If the Spurs do upset the Warriors then I believe they will go on a huge run but I doubt they will beat the Warriors.
This team needed 4 quarters to beat the Dubs without Curry, Beta, Klay, Green, Casspi, and Zaza/McGee/West playing low minutes.
The Spurs will be fortunate not to get swept.

Would love to be optimistic and say our own Dijon Murray is going to make a leap in his evolution as a player and be what the team needs him to be... or that Kawhi was frozen in carbonite (since no one has seen him since mid March) and the defrost process is in progress resulting in him pulling the Willis Reed. Alas none of that is likely so this battle is uphill. Not impossible though.
