I'll say this about Mills tonight: at least he isn't a defensive liability.
Not gonna happen. PATFO ain't gonna admit 12:01 was a bad move. 50Mills WILL play.

Murray-- as bad as he looked recently-- should still be playing over Mills..
Mills has looked better. Murray needs more time to develop, but he really didn't do himself any favors with his play early on. Mills being able to hit 3s (sounds simple) makes him more valuable.

Nah. He didn't go down hard or awkwardly. First time that happens - I'll join you.

Welp, then tonight is a fluke after all.
I guess you can say that considering that 3 of the Grizzlies 5 made 3s came from guys who shoot under 30% from 3: Andrew Harrison (20%), Dillon Brooks (29.2%), James Ennis (29.4% although he did shoot 37.2% from 3 last season).

    Aaron Gordon's line 40 pts on 13-23 with 6-12 made 3s, 8-11 on FT, 15 rebounds, 4 as, 4 st. 1 TO, 1 PF.
That was a superstar game. but played 44 minutes... if its taking that for Orladon to win, I am glad they finally have the star they need but Vogel needs to do something about everyone else.

Parker is such a nifty offense conductor.. Such a joy to watch him get players in their sets.

It's a shame bc to me, Manu is the one who has looked 40 and father time is catching up.
    no matter.
there will be attrition, Tony and Manu will get their rest games and nags here or there bc father time is father time.
Murray needs to be ready. His leash is going to get short bc now they don't "need" his minutes, Forbes is playing over him so he's got to work on his game and be ready. He's not going to get a lot of opportunities from now on and has to make them count. If he doesn't well he's 21, there is going to be a next season.
Murray doesnt need to be ready...he needs to play...the guy isnt a robot...even kyle said he needed to play in order to develop...the only reason kyle has improved this year is because he isnt on a short leash and he is playing with starters

Getting fed up with this flukiness by Memphis. Spurs have also had five or six shots roll in and out.

In general I haven't liked the effort this game. They are so hot and making so many jumpshots that they are coasting on defense.

I'll say this about LMA, I'm still not a fan of his game but he's taken on the load and has shown leadership and responsibility on both sides of the court with Kawhi being out. He's leading by example.

Yup. He has stepped up. He's been a monster most games the Spurs have won. They do need him.

We were on the verge of blowing the Grizz out, and the lead was down to six.
