Yep. Manu made two very nice cuts. Otherwise he was a negative. But, as we know, in order for somebody else to step up, Pop will need to indulge them a bit rather that fall back on Manu. I don't see that happening. Manu will have to retire before Pop will quit going to him.

Pop has cut Manu's minutes every season and doesn't always play him big mins in the 2nd half or in the 4th. He's 9th in the team in MPG in the 4th, (tho really 7th cause it has Hilliard/Costello) but he's behind LMA, Green, Forbes, Anderson, Mills, and Murray.

I feel like people think he plays more than he does. Overall he's 8th in MPG, and he'll probably be 10th once Kawhi is back and TP gets back to playing around 20.

Guys are definitely getting the opportunity to step up. Paul is losing time, but could see him getting an extra mins and Manu going down a bit even more.

Been his M.O. for years. He usually has a superstar to bail him out but not this season (albeit LMA is playing like one tonight).

That wasn't his MO from about 2012-2015.

It's a matter of it being the regular season lol. There will be lots of experimenting and tinkering. Guys here view every game as a must win or die scenario and want set rotations already . Pop & the coaching staff view it differently.
