It's evident that they just wanted to dump Thomas, it's clear that him and LeBron absolutely hate each other..Thomas has been one of the worst players in the league, his ego isn't worth his production..

In the grand scheme, Ainge certainly destroyed them in that trade..
Yes, but also depends on what they get for the pick.

It sounds like Jordan is the best they could do with the Nets pick..even if they pull that off, I'd still say Boston comfortably won that trade(especially if they knew that Thomas would never recover from his injury)..

They can't trade the Nets pick now after trading their own first.

Who wants Willie Reed? I remember people here wanting him.

Probably better than Joff... but Joff has a PO for next season.

Doubt it. Just solidifying the wing.

I did not know that. Because of rules that prohibit trading too many first-round picks?

Cavs not insisting on getting Jaylen Brown or (to lesser extent) Tatum instead of Crowder in that package is mind boggling especially they knew IT was going to be OUT for a while and potentially career-altered by that injury....

    Ya I just read that..

LeBron trades away a player he hates and helps the Lakers potentially open cap space in case he decides to go there

And the rumors that Griffin had a deal lined up for Jimmy Butler or Paul George

Something like that. It's out of play until draft day either way.

They already have 4 wings guys in Kennard, Galloway, Bullock and S. Johnson. Giving up a 2nd rounder for a 4th/5th wing doesn't make much sense.

I get that, but SVG is high on Johnson. Moving Bradley was partially to get minutes for Johnson. They'd rather move someone like Galloway.

I'm sure they would love to get rid of Galloway but nobody is taking on that contract.

We see suckers take contracts every year, but I agree that he probably isn't moved.

Cavs front office making PATFO look like ing geniuses with that awful deal.

Essentially gave up Kyrie, Frye, and a 1st for a 15-game rental of the corpse of IT and two busts in Clarkson and Nance.

Looks like the Lakers have just ensured themselves about $60 million in capspace this summer. They must really regret that $18 million they'll owe Deng next season.
Lakers should package a first with Deng. Some sucker GM will give them an expiring in return.

All I know is the Spurs better act fast. I expect them to make moves that will make them the favorite to win it all this year, regardless of Kawhi's health.

    I DEMAND EXCELLENCE!
