cavs have turned tosb’s into young prospects in a snap of a finger.
Larry is still the same player he was in his rookie season, good rebounder but no offensive game to speak of.
Clarkson is s streaky shooter with subpar defense and poor shot selection.
Hill is a journeyman that turns 32 in a few months.
Hood is solid, has some range and can stretch the floor.

Please let's not get carried away

Hill unnecessary, Hood awesome. and they gave up Crowder who was good and Shump who was . I bet they offered Shump and Thompson but Utah wanted Crowder

So George Hill, Rodney Hood, Jordan Clarkson, Larry Nance in.

Isaiah Thomas, Channing Frye, Iman Shumpert, Derrick Rose, Jae Crowder, their own first rounder out.

That’s making something out of nothing tbh.
And Wade gone too (no need since Hood will be the new Wade). If they convert their other asset (pick) into DJ somehow, watch out.

+ 1. Definitely an upgrade over their previous roster but nothing to write home about. Celtics or Raptors can beat them through chemistry alone.

But they gave up to get those guys. Thomas. Rose. Shumpert. Crowder. Frye. The only bad thing about the deals for Cleveland is the amount and number of years left on Hill’s contract. Overall, they get younger and more athletic. And Hill is a clear upgrade at both ends over Thomas. And Cleveland still didn’t deal the Brooklyn pick. Win all around for the Cavs.

Just because they didn’t trade for Anthony Davis and John Wall, it doesn’t mean it still wasn’t a great day for Cleveland. Considering what kind of assets they had to work with, their trades were impressive.

    100% agreed.

Dumping Skumpert alone was worth it all. Dude has sucked for years IMHO.

It's still better than the nursing home roster that was limping out there for the Cavs, tbh.

Hill for Rose is a great improvement for this season. George is an above average defender when engaged and is hitting 45% on 3's.

$19 million/yr is a steep price for someone who declined defensively.

Mark my words......Cleveland will be much better quickly. They will start winning games. Lebron had no help on offense. He does now.
Man, you're sucking off the Cavs awfully hard. You seem really excited for them.

Rose to be released by Utah
He hasn't played in San Antonio, so he's not ready to retire yet.
