There is another development working in Texas’s favor. Looks like John Emery will be picking LSU. If he does indeed pick LSU, that would give LSU two RB commitments, both five stars.


About two weeks ago, reports were coming that Noah Cain would be committing to LSU since Emery was thought to be a Mississippi St lean. Now that Emery is leaning LSU, Texas becomes the front runner in Noah Cain’s recruitment once again.

I've read on another board, that his girlfriend (Emery's) is playing a big roll in this and looks to be enrolling at LSU now. Hence, the needle moving back to LSU and away from MState, where his girlfriend was once thought to be headed.

Per Inside Texas, it looks like there's a pretty good chance LB R. Davis wants to meet up with D-Floyd and hang this weekend. Both are in Texas at the moment visiting family. Worth keeping an eye on.

Huge if true, Davis looks legit, him and Floyd are ideal at LB. I fully expect to lose not only Johnson after this year, but also McCullough. Getting those two would be ideal for us.

I know, but McCullough is the wildcard, as of now I feel like he is gone after next year. I also think he is going to have one of a year. I think he will be 1st or 2nd team all conference. I think he will get about 75 tackles minimum.
