Lol the Pirate is basically accusing the Pac12 of favoring USC during games

".......USC linebacker Porter Gustin was not given a targeting penalty for hits on Washington State quarterback Gardner Minshew during the Trojan’s 39-36 win on Sept. 21. Meanwhile, Washington State linebacker Logan Tago was flagged on that very call for a hit on Trojans quarterback JT Daniels.

Eventually, reports from last week led Pac-12 commissioner Larry Scott to admit errors were made in the replay-review process. He then proclaimed that immediate changes would be made to the process that will prevent any real-time inference by leaders in the conference going forward.

Here’s what Leach texted to league officials following that USC game, which were obtained by Yahoo Sports.

Leach, in a text to Pac-12 vice president of officiating David Coleman, wrote on Sept. 25 about the targeting no-call against USC: “Woodie is a total coward and is afraid of USC. I look forward to telling him in person.” Leach referred to Woddie Dixon, the Pac-12 general counsel and senior vice president of business affairs.

Leach also wrote Dixon and said: “Why can’t I help wondering, if you’re trying to manipulate wins and losses?”........"

A Florida Mod CBd Higgins to Stanford this Morning, I think. It could well be Lewis was given the go ahead. Also, all this Turpin news probably was the final dagger, if there was one for TCU. Just my educated guess here and I’m not very good at them.

It also very well could be Powell though, he was supposed to be making a decision soon. One of the two. Lol

I think Sanders is tired of the process and just wants to get it over with.

My guess, in order of going public, is Powell and then Washington.

Didnt they (may have been TFB) say that while it was someone the staff has been recruiting the timing of the announcement was surprising. I believe Washington announced a couple of weeks ago that he was committing on October 26th? He did move it up from November, but that was already done before the shhh.

    That confused me too.

24/7 mentioned today the first of the two silents wasn't going to be a surprise.

IMO, I think the Horns have two silents (one will announce tommorrow) and Washington on Friday for a total of 3. I could be wrong though.

Quote from RB Trey Sanders after Coach Drayton went to Florida to see him (24/7):

“It was real good to see him,” Sanders said. “Coach Drayton is like a dad to me. It was good to see him come out here and check us out. He’s always teaching me something. I remember sitting in his running back room one time, and him just teaching me how I can change my game in 15 minutes. Since then, it’s been different for me.”

I want Sanders more than I want Evans next year, not saying I don't want Evans, but first off Sanders is this year and him and Ingram would be for any defense to try to stop. Also, because Sanders DOMINATED the game that was on tv against Bru McCoys' team, Mater Dei. The dude was just running in a different gear.

Evans, reminds me of Adrian Peterson in the way he runs. I know there have been a lot of comparisons to AP but his running style is very similar IMO to the way he runs.

Inside Texas had a recruiting percentages article this morning, and below is what they wrote on RB Trey Sanders.

Up until now, they haven't given UT much of a chance.

The fit: Explosive big back who can run inside or outside, with speed or with power. "He's the best running back out this way since Dalvin Cook," said one source. To which I responded, "he looks way different than I remember as a junior." He didn’t look like a five-star to me until this year.

The recruitment: This recruitment threw me for a loop yesterday. In the span of about 10 minutes both Justin and me heard positives regarding Texas. I've been very cautious (to put it mildly)on UT's chances thus far, but now I could see them landing the five-star.

Timeline: December for the early enrollee. He still has an official visit to Alabama for the Iron Bowl which is obviously a concern. He took his official visit to Texas for the USC game.

    Percentages: 40% - Texas, 40% - Alabama, 20% - Florida

Question: We keep hearing about Sam and his throwing motion for playing in the game. What about him getting hit on shoulder? His running style seems to be bad as for reinjuring his shoulder,or evin taking a sack could hurt it more. The TCU quarterback just required surjery. Texas cannot afford to lose Sam for rest of year.
