That's a bad thing? Why is getting an additional commitment bad? They'd still get Watson. He said "+ Watson". So I'm confused.
Whatever you understood or whatever he said was misinterpreted. If Watson is the guy who can't go public until next month, we get on commitment. If it's someone other than him that means there's another player we don't already know about possibly in the loop. Watson is on the radar as possibly being a commitment real soon, no one else is.
