WR demond demas was arrested yesterday on charges of possession of marijuana (less than 2 ounces); while i think that these arrests are stupid and know the college station police to be as bad as any police department out there, this is still a bad development for the kid and a troubling sign. one has to wonder whether or not demas is starting to go down the path of speedy noll, another five-star WR that never panned out due to off the field issues.
Whoever that cop is, I hope his resume is up to date, he is going to need it.

sure was; although from what i read, it sounds like he had a few joints on him. i'm not downplaying it because other players have ruined their careers over dope. my hope is that the kid follows the path of ricky williams when it comes to usage, as opposed to the route of a speedy noll.
Texas had a DB a few years back with a jones for the wackie tabaccie, it ended up consting him a few rounds in the draft. I don't follow the NFL so I have no idea if he is still playing.
