Team leader Ginobili trying to make Kawhi comfortable and save the franchise, tbh... sad to see his Bolivians and Salvadorean brothers hating on him...
Always had nothing but respect. He was always that guy that you disliked that much more, because you knew just how good he was. But also tough. Incredibly tough. Tim Duncan incredibly tough. Played through injuries to his knees for years. This is part of the deal if you want to be an all-time great player. Sacrifice.

Kobe gets a lot of hate (especially here), but dude was tough. There is an article with day-to-day chronology leading up to the Achilles injury. At that age, on that amount of mileage, putting in that amount of work. That's unheard of especially in this age of athletics and heightened general conservative management of ailments.
Ya the better comparison to look upto would be Manu. The guy played on with a broken arm.
Manu is just being a great Spurs. Nothing is coming out publicly. He doesn’t want to put fuel in the fire.
What a god. And his game 5 destroyed the memory of 6.
Hey, I'm Salvadoran and I love God Ginobili, tbh.
Gotta admit that was the most impressive thing I have seen since Witten's no helmet touchdown on 4th and 17 to beat the Eagles.
More like Manu channeling his performance from 6 in trying to turn Kawhi over to LeBron, but this time in LA instead of Miami.
Kobe was fine pushing a once-a-generation teammate (beyond the injuries and being out of shape) out of town to take control of a team and push it into the lottery. That’s the kind of compe or he is ... himself above everyone else.
So, can Kawhi wipe his own ass yet?
That got always faked those injuries (except for the Achilles, of course) after particularly awful shooting nights. Kobe was the ultimate drama queen.
No kidding. NA was in the other thread last night hoping other players had season ending injuries so the spurs could tank an untankable season LOL.
Charles on TNT: "I wish he (Kawhi) would come out and say something... I would love for Kawhi to come out and say I love the Spurs, I love playing in San Antonio, I'm just not healthy. I don't want to hear that there's a disconnect between the team. I hate that stuff."
Kenny: "He owes that to the Spurs. They're the best. They're the best organization in the NBA. They're best in the business who everyone emulates, everyone gets jobs just because they worked for the Spurs.. he owes it to the Spurs, who have treated him great."
Considering how big of a distraction everything is, you'd imagine if he had something positive to say, he'd had enough brain cells to realize to come forward and say it to squash everything.
If he has something negative to say, he's best not saying anything because the negative would just ignite the fire and distractions even more.
Common sense.
This. The "tough warrior" image is a self-propagated spin by kobe himself.
No
But manu is the last person to ask about this. Hes been injured most of his career
Maybe Gino see what's up with diva LMA, the upcoming TP loyalty extension and whatever awful deal they offer fathead to pile on top of Fatty and Pau deals...
If Kawhi leaves, everybody else might as well start looking for houses in Seattle, tbh...
Assuming all you say comes true, this organization still deserves/earned the right to proceed according to their plan. Quit being prisoners of the moment........ Spoiled & en led people say the darndest things!
Salvadoreans hate Argentinians TBH
Lets go ask the Spur that sat injured most in tam history on what it means to play through pain
Brilliant idea
Not my fault I've been spoiled by the great Tim Duncan, tbh...
