I like what DJ said as he jumped in to interrupt that interview for a few seconds between LA and the ABC reporter.

Actually really liked this starting lineup and the idea of it going forward. Mill's, despite his horrid contract is what the SL needs. He is capable of getting hot and is probably the best shooter on the team this season, he's always aggressive in getting up 3's and can do so off the dribble, on catch and shoots and dribble hand-offs. Green helps the bench D and benefits from playing beside both Parker and Manu.

I'd like to try this starting lineup for a few more games. When you say Mills is what the starting lineup needs, that's definitely not true if he starts at PG. He was piss poor doing that. I'm willing to give him a chance to see how he goes at shooting guard for a little bit, though.

DJ had a great game, but again it was against the Cavs. I'm hoping it was because the team needed a win and he tried his hardest to deliver it. I hope that is why he played so well and not just because it was against the Cavs. If so, this is maybe the first time this season I've been truly encouraged by him moving forward.

I don't mind the lineup change, I like that Pop is trying new things, at least he still cares enough to do that

Parker/Mills and Parker/Forbes have been terrible duos together, especially the former, it's one of the worst on/off combinations on the team..it makes sense to seperate them..it doesn't really make a difference, anyways, Green mostly played against Cleveland's best players(which will always be the case if he's making shots)..

The Pelicans use a very small backcourt, Memphis doesn't have any talent(Evans might be out) and the Lakers 2-guard isn't a creating threat, so it's a good stretch to build something..

The progression was there from rookie year to third year from a 29% to 37% 3 Point shooter. Forbes shoots 60% on FTs, but is an elite 3 point shooter. Anderson is reluctant to shoot from anywhere, something he needs to keep developing.
    32% on 3Gs, don't shoot

75% on FTs, can't shoot jumpers. his scoring is mainly close in, not from jump shot

a poor shooter, and judging from the open jumpers he passes up, he knows it.
I am mostly fine with Anderson offensively, but he is best with the ball in his hands and spacing around him. He put up 20 @GSW while playing alongside Mills, Green, and Bertans on the perimeter and LMA setting screens.

He only takes shot's that he knows he can make (he's shooting 53% on 2pt FGs) that along with his passing still makes him a decent offensive player, while on the defensive end he is a definitely above average.

I do think Mills makes sense in the starting lineup if Pau is going to start and Anderson is going to play the three. Murray makes the most sense as his back-court compliment. So Green off the bench is fine. Shouldn't be playing bench minutes, though. Patty doesn't need to play in the mid-30s just because he's starting. He shouldn't be the second guard subbed out. Mills going out for Green, Murray going out for Parker then Kyle/Pau going out for Manu makes the most sense.

I should have mentioned that they should try Mills starting for a few games, but he definitely should not play more minutes than Green.

Maybe the best win of the season. These guys could have packed it in after 4 straight losses in a row and with this being the last game of the rodeo road trip, they could have gotten down on themselves with all the injuries and not knowing whether Kawhi is coming back or not this season. They could have just flat out quit, but yet again they showed fight throughout the game and this time kept their composure down the stretch earning themselves a big/great win.

I think it's pretty clear that these guys are not going to give up. Kawhi needs to man up and get himself back on the court if he's healthy enough to do so.

Spurs guard Patty Mills subject to racist taunt from Cavaliers fan

“Hey, Jamaican dog. They want their bobsledder back,” the fan yelled.

“Hey Mills, Jamaica just called; they want their bobsledder back.”

I would agree with this somewhat, but this Cavs team isn't the same as the other times. They have new pieces. I honestly don't understand why George Hill is starting and not Clarkson.
