By the holy hand-grenade what the was that?
Time to get the tank back on track!
By the holy hand-grenade what the was that?
I feel bad for Murray but the midget ball Pop threw out there was too much to overcome. Forbes needs to be scorching to see more than token minutes...
DJ giving Fathead a run for his money as the worst possible player to have the final shot with the game on the line.
Yep, 1 timeout left at the end.
WTF Pop didn't call a time out is beyond me. Spurs obviously had nothing going on with that last play.
As someone who couldn't see the game, why in the did Murray of all people take that 3 at the end?
I assume we didn't have a timeout. But if we did and Poop saw Murray diddling with the ball, then that's on him.
well at least we weren't ebmarrased hope pop has one good speech to get these guys to not give up whole quarters....
Why is that re DJ ever in during crunch time? I don't mind the no timeout but that strategy should've been thrown out the window when Pop saw DJ being an erratic re .
I forgot that we had a TO...inexcusable on the coaching staff not to call a TO.
Murray with a very bad play to say the least.
#6. Pelicans own the tiebreaker.
Murray never should have had the ball in the first place. He should've been in a corner if they wanted to leave him open for a three, then that's the only reason to be settling for a Murray three.
Another moral victory for the Spurs!!!
For s and giggles
Why would you trust your inexperienced PG there when you have a timeout? This isn't time for learning, they're trying to get a playoff birth..
that’s what i thought, wasn’t sure though.
Murray didn't even look at the sideline. No chance for play or a time out. Young Westbookian stupid.
Pop should have called a timeout once he saw Murray with the ball
I think he was willing to go for a quick-two there and was trying to get Murray to drive and either make the basket or kick it out. It wasn't a bad idea considering MKE had guys like Henson and Giannis on the floor who can't be relied on to shoot 2/2 in clutch moments. With the way the team had been shooting threes, I don't think it's absurd to not rely on them getting a good shot at the end.
This is a good lesson why Manu still closes quarters/games
DJ had played adequately enough not to be replaced by TP or god forbid Forbes.
That last play though... blame goes to Pop, then the team on the court not getting into motion. DJ is a ing kid tbh, and not one you can trust to make something happen in that juncture of a game
