Well said. GT is a legend in these purple and gold streets. His vids, commentary and non-biased takes are always spot on. Alex tripping![]()
what?!
I am familliar with that Twitter the guys name is Pete and he went from a respected LG poster like say Jamstone or DPG when he is not getting emotional, to a guy that the NBA was blocking his use of film for video breakdowns, geeting that back, to now having a media credential asking Luke and Kuzma questions on live TV in the post game pressor along with Plashke, Jim Hill etc.
Im not this dude agent but i highly doubt anyone but the top 1% of posters on here, could do what he has done in a big media market. If you live local to DFW he has become a Lakers version of ben and skin but did it via social media instead of radio and started just posting well thought out messages on LG. Just because you disagree and or love Westbrook doesnt mean he should be questioned...
And again i love Russ (Go Bruins!) but paying a 30 plus year old PG 40 million after two knee surgeries who plays as hard as he does every night and relies on speed and hops, Pete is right to question that.

No doubt did not mean to rant ...and i know we have fun here ..but all jokes aside i respect the out of the time and energy he put in to the sport/team he loves ...to see it pay off is great.
Feel the same about Eric Pincus and Larry Coon ...but Pete's ascencion was more grassroots. Those guys always felt to me, like media who took time to connect with Lakerfans on LG.
Pete was a high level but common poster who has built a career from there. Impressive stuff.
Dude, no respectable basketball mind has Kobe over Lebron. Deal with it. Lebron is top 5, Kobe is not even top 10, and soon he won't even be top 15.
This is a crucial game 5 in a tied series. Winner takes the series.
I still like Milwaukee, but Giannis needs to rise to the occasion. He needs to have a signature playoff performance.
Well, so much for that. If they can hardly break 80 points in a game, there's no hope for them.
How does Giannis get only 10 FGAs?
Phily still the hottest team in the NBA. They should make the finals, or it'll be a disappointment.

Another Celtics playoff win without "Killa" Kyrie.
I think the Bucks have been the biggest disappointment in this year's playoffs. The Bucks have much more talent yet they're trailing in this series to a team full of roleplayers. Pathetic.
Maybe but OKC
Totally dumb. DK wouldn't have won nearly as many rangs if he wasn't playing in the Plumber Era. And he was on the Plumber Era's equivalent of the modern-day Warriors. And he ducked Hakeem like Manny ducked Floyd in his prime.
If rangs are the ultimate neutralizer, then Bill Russell is the GOAT.
If that was Wade's last game it's been an honor and a privilege
me on jj re when he signed with philly
Phily has a very well-rounded team. Dominant center, excellent PG, good shooters, great coach. Recipe for success.
Draymond is incredible
While everybody including Spurs fans were disgusted by watching the spurs this season, Lamarcus Aldridge had the time of his life
wolves are stacked a f too. Legit 3rd seed team I think they just had the misfortune of playing houston.
definitely worth it. in a league full of prima donnas, you gotta respect someone who goes at it 100% of the time. plus, without russ, okc is no better than a crappy franchise like the hawks. he's the reason why bennett will get a 300% return from his investment
Exactly. People forget that the point of the NBA is to make money. Someone would pay Russ 60 mil/year if they could. Lebron 100 mil easily.
Now that the Spurs are out, go Pels, Jazz, and Sixers.
Agreed.
And those just happen to be the hottest teams remaining.
Det Spurs coaching tree.
Coaching tree already better than the root tbh ( Messina included )
