He had plenty of blunders down the stretch, the worst of which was the drive and getting swatted after RaptorRef took out Gianis.

Kawhi dragging his leg and team to victory was impressive. The 2017 playoffs and now 2019 playoffs performances as the superstar is incredibly impressive. Kawhi gets a lot of comparison to Durant. Durant is a 7fter that is supposed to be a great shooter but he has a low 30's 3pt percentage in the playoffs when he's playing on a really good okc team and not an all-star gsw team. Kawhi has performed better than Durant with more burden on his plate.

Listen, if you want to cheer for a player who asked for a trade because he wasn't getting enough touches on a 67-win team that reached the WCFs, that's on you, you're en led to cheer for whoever you want..
IMO, that's the complete opposite of everything the Spurs stand for..a player who puts his stats over the team..if Kawhi hadn't quit on the Spurs and left, Aldridge would be viewed much differently in SA..
cheering against Kawhi Leonard will be really depressing for some people, unfortunately, when in court, he is one of the biggest 2-way basketball players that ever existed.

I really hope we find out someday. Re-watching Kawhi embrace Pop after we beat the Heat just makes this whole thing so strange. My gut still tells me it was Kawhi deciding between his uncle and the Spurs. This whole thing just ing sucks. He seemed to be that player that was finally giving the Spurs the media buzz we deserved during the Duncan era. Kawhi's game seemed more marketable and he was a of a player for us. It's easy to say Kawhi but if we really felt that way this thread would have died pages ago. It sucks seeing our heir to the throne being a man among boys. Just keeping it real.
Maybe this thread should be stickied to the bottom of page 1.
