To his point though, Mahomes might be the best B12 QB ever after just one season as a starter
VY and RG3 both had great rookie seasons but everyone but Avante knows runners like that don't last long.
But yes, St Patrick still just might be that
All he has to do is win a playoff game to have more than them put together.
I think he'll win the AFC if the AFC goes through Arrowhead
If the AFC goes thru Foxborough then he'll come up just short this year
So you’re telling that whichever team has the best record and HFA is more likely to win.
Brilliant take.
Yep. Pats haven't won a road playoff game in over a decade. 3 of those losses since their last win were to Peyton Manning, who Brady could never beat on the road.
Crazy thought, but just maybe the home team winning more often in the playoffs has something to do with it having the better record and being the better team.
You saying it's easier to win at home, Andrew? Never figured that.
I'm saying that the very best dynasties of all time in sports history win home and away... Pats haven't won away in the playoffs since the days of Seymour, RHarrison, Ted Washington etc... e.g. when their defense was the focus of their team (like the LOB in Seattle and not Russell Wilson) and not Brady.
I dunno about that, Andrew. If we're talking about dynasties then we have to start from the beginning for pats since they began from le #1. That makes their road record, if I'm not fudging a number, 3-4 in the playoffs. Pretty average for a road record. Who would be a better dynasty in modern football? Montana's 49ers with a 1-4 road record? You also mention home records... that's not going to help your argument either.
Who is the better dynasty, tbh? Packers from the 60s?
Lakers/Patriots
what is he also a Sox or Yankees fan?
Answer the question, which dynasty is the best if road wins are so important Andrew?
answer the question about the bandwagoning first
I live in LA so Lakers and watched Patriots with my dad growing up. Easy, now answer.
why? was he from Boston area? or just a bandwaggie himself?
Dunno, he's been a pats fan since the early 80s and is friends with Willie Mcginest. You gonna answer the Q or not, andrew?
is his name Andrew irl or something?
