Tbh that's the best defense he's had since he's been in the NBA.
That's what was missing - Russ wasn't taking enough shots.

Very true. He's got maybe 3 years left with this level of athleticism and then he'll turn into Tony Parker
Agreed Tony Parker was 32-33 when he feel off. So Russ has 2-3 years before he becomes trash.
Except Tony has 4 rings and a Finals MVP. Russ has a RS MVP and 4 onion rings.
Oh sure Tony Parker was a better player than Russel Westbrook and is a rightful basketball legend but modern day Tony sucks. Russ will age similarly poorly.
tbh I finally realized that Russ is taking lessons from Melo tbh ... great pairing tbh
Don't you worry guys - he'll end up in San Antonio after he turns 35 and maybe win his first ring there....
WestBrick took an onion in Porker's mouth in the postseason (Spurs would have lost in '14 if Porker wasn't told to go home at halftime of Gm 6)
Probably going to break the record for most airballs in a season.
Instead of developing a floater, they want him to start taking shots from halfcourt.
I'm sure Tony will mention it during his HOF speech.
Modern day Dirk isn't so great either.
This is prime Russ.
.......nobody will be in attendance except his sidepieces
Pretty sure Kawhi won't be in attendance.
Not sure Porker will make it considering his lard intake
Old joke that isn't even funny anymore. Parker is old and slow (for an NBA athlete) but obviously isn't fat.
Good news..only thing missing from Russ's repertoire for basketball entertainment is a consistent 3-point shot..nobody is turning on his games to watch the team's result, they want entertainment..
Like the Harlem Globetrotters but with a WWE feel to it.
He worked on it plenty during the season too. Still shot 30%.
He & DeRozan are going to build a fortified wall around Compton with all those bricks in this summer.
