You have used efficiency and winning as the barometer for being a great player on here for years. Now all of a sudden when it comes to your pet Westbrook neither of those are important. That’s goalpost moving at its finest tbh.
Not really a Westbrook fan but the press does suck donkey balls.
Durant...

The Thunder would be NOTHING without him that's all I hear from his apologists.
While with him you get 2 whole playoff home games. I'm sure that's worth the $43 million a year they are paying him
Okc fully aware that no one of any significance will ever sign with them and true superstars who can make an impact will leave any chance they have.
Westbrook is the only player who can get butts in seats and them on national tv.
Bunch of small market teams are in the same realm. Milwaukee lucked out with Greek freak, Cleveland only got Lebron because of his hometown, spurs are done without duncan (and back when team loyalty was actually a thing). When you look at Portland, Detroit, Utah, Sacramento, Orlando, Charlotte, etc. They have nothing going for them and given a choice players will always prioritize larger markets or at least a city with any type of culture over those cities.
Westchuck getting bounced after a triple double is a decent consolation prize for today’s ty game
Still mindblown he stole an MVP from Kawhi or James Harden.
Kinda sad tbh. Hopefully kawhi wins one in the future.
Paul George tried his best to carry Westbrook kicking and screaming to victory, he couldn’t do it though.
11-31
PG 14-20
WB with as many misses as PG had shots attempted
Dame torching his ass for 50 in a close out game
Rock the baby
Harlem and CN, get in here and defend your pet tbh
I’m sure somebody will take the bait
Traded the wrong member of the burgeoning Triplets back in the day...
They got stuck with the worst of the 3
bbbut they'll remember muh triple dubs
Russ is obviously severely declining(been saying it all year), but his legacy is set..MVP, led a team to the Finals and multiple deep runs, but most importantly, the only player in NBA history to average a triple-double in 3 straight seasons..we'll never see one like him again..
There aren't many PGs better than him all-time(although it's due to being a historically weak position)
« Led a team to the finals »
Harden is more responsible for OKC beating SA in 2012 than Russ
That part made me laugh as well
HH doesn’t mean it tbh, he is just trying to get reactions
I haven't posted bait posts in years
Usage % in the 2012 playoffs
Westbrook: 30.7
Durant: 28.8
FGA/G
Westbrook: 20.4
Durant: 19.2
APG
Westbrook: 5.9
Durant: 3.7
Durant was their best and most effective player, but Russ was the #1 option on the team..he got the attention of the defense and ate more possessions..he led them there..
this one is still great
