This... just some more progressive 'ideas' to color up the Spurs brand. They just can't let certain things be. In fact there will be more deconstructionist initiatives as part of this progressive agenda. Perhaps they'll stop saluting the U.S. and Canadian flags lest they feel it will offend immigrants from other parts of the world. Yep, pretty much saying that the "eye candy" wasn't good enough to keep the program going. They'll probably be the only team in the NBA without one. But who cares? The halftime shows they put on with the Silver Dancers is on average like a middle school play.

It's been a slow fade towards progressivism (ergo deconstructionism) but the change is still in progress (pun intended). It doesn't happen overnight but the writing is on the wall. When the millennial generation takes a foothold over their editor positions, however, then the transformation will be complete.
