CBS NBA: NBA Mock Draft 2018: Michael Porter Jr.'s back injury one of many questions after No. 1

Elie Okobo | International | Jr | PG

Okobo is a 6-2 point guard with a 6-8 wingspan who has been on NBA radars for years but made a big jump playing in France this season. He got 44 points in one playoff game and now looks like a lock first-round pick. With Tony Parker all but done being a meaningful player, it seems wise for San Antonio to use a first-round pick on an interesting primary ball-handler with a reliable jumper.

Don't know a thing about this kid, but a guard with a 6'10 wingspan that can shoot sounds pretty intriguing. If he can work well alongside guys like Murray and White, maybe this is the right move. Assuming Kawhi and Anderson are back.

Wouldn't mind. Also, wouldn't mind moving up in the 2nd to get that PG from Duke as a project.

If there's some scenario where SA trades way down in the first, while also losing at least one of Murray or White, I could get behind this. SA doesn't need a developmental guard as of now (unless that guard has a really high ceiling like Walker), but if they were to make an aggressive move for Lebron or Kemba using Mills and Murray, then, yeah, letting this kid be the third-string PG works really well.

Not sold on Murray as a PG ... I think he's more of a SG than PG.

SBNation: NBA mock draft: This would be the perfect pick for every team

    18. San Antonio Spurs - Elie Okobo, PG, France

Okobo is a 6’3 point guard with a 6’8 wingspan who excels at off-the-dribble shooting. He ended the season on fire for his French pro team and is now likely the favorite to be the fourth point guard off the board in this draft.
