Noted el negro
the Lakers are not making the playoffs with that roster
Noted el negro
Russell and Larry Bird? if that's the trend
Yeah right, you said a few meaning two
Also lol Bird over James
I'd love to hear this case. Bird's clearly not in any way comparable to James if you factor in longevity, so let's go on highest peak:
Bird's most PPG in a year: 29.9 (87-88)
James' most PPG in year: 30.0 (07-08)
Bird's most APG in a year: 7.6 (86-87)
James' most APG in a year: 10.2 (19-20), though he had more than 7.6 six different years
Bird's most RPG in a year: 11.0 (82-83), though Bird had more than 8.7 eleven years
James' most RPG in a year: 8.7 (16-17, 17-18)
Bird's most BPG in a year: 1.2 (84-85)
James' most BPG in a year: 1.1 (07-08, 08-09, 21-22)
Bird's highest FG% in a year: 52.7% (87-88)
James' highest FG% in a year: 56.7% (13-14), though he's bested Bird's top number five times
Bird's highest 3FG% in a year: 42.5% (84-85), besting LeBron's best four times
James' highest 3FG% in a year: 40.6% (12-13)
Bird's highest PER in a year: 27.8 (87-88)
James' highest PER in a year: 31.7 (08-09), bested Bird's top number eight times
Bird's highest TS% in a year: 61.2% (86-87)
James' highest TS% in a year: 64.9% (13-14), beat Bird's top number five times
Bird's highest OWS in a year: 11.2 (87-88)
James' highest OWS in a year: 14.6 (12-13), beat Bird's top number five times
Bird's highest DWS in a year: 6.2 (85-86)
James' highest DWS in a year: 6.5 (08-09)
Bird's highest WS in a year: 15.8 (85-86)
James' highest WS in a year: 20.3 (08-09), though he beat Bird's number four times
Bird's highest WS/48 in a year: .244 (85-86)
James' highest WS/48 in a year: .318 (08-09), though he beat Bird's best number four times
Bird's highest OBPM in a year: 6.8 (84-85)
James' highest OBPM in a year: 9.5 (08-09), though he beat Bird's best number ten times
Bird's highest DBPM in a year: 2.3 (81-82)
James' highest DBPM in a year: 3.7 (08-09), though he beat Bird's best number five times
Bird's highest BPM in a year: 8.8 (84-85)
James' highest BPM in a year: 13.2 (08-09), seven times beating Bird's best
Bird's highest VORP in a year: 8.8 (84-85)
James' highest VORP in a year: 11.8 (08-09), six times beating Bird's best
So Prime Bird was a better rebounder, ergo better than Prime LeBron right?
Bron is at least the Goat SF …
Cases cAn be made for MJ kareem others as the overall GOAT …
But Bron is the best SF in NBA history by any real measure
not making that kind of case.. up until the lakers fiasco, i would have put him right under MJ, but we're in such an era that you need to put a star on every stat and look at the bigger picture
You're not making any kind of case other than being a hater grasping at straws. You know how stupid it would sound if you said "I had Jordan #1 until the Wizards fiasco"? Also LOL Lakers fiasco when he brought them a le.
Oh it’s been a show but we tied the Celtics which is all that matters … we don’t do so without LeBron.
yeah.. i don't consider that le to even exist much less be a factor in any conversation.. i mean nobody even saw them play live..
Who cares if you don't recognize it. It's on the books and you're doing the same whiny crap Laker fans did about the Spurs 99 le.
you seem to be losing your train of thought.. surely you must at least agree that lebron's legacy has decreased since joining the lakers.. or is that also reaching?
Winning a le hurts one's legacy? What kind of re ed is that?
is that a no?
No, going to LA and winning a le only hurts his legacy to re s.
All right sir, have a nice day
You seem to think Bird retiring at 35 was better for his legacy than James winning a le at 36.
the way i see it, the lakers home crowd hasn't seen the second round of the playoffs since... well... i don't even remember when was it... like 2012? Don't think that's what jack nicholson signed up for when he kept paying for those seats... selling the ship for lebron was better than what they had, but it was still a show and they keep on going nowhere.. before he went to the lakers he was the guy you could throw on any team and he'd get to the finals.. that's a different legacy to me, if you disagree, fine.
In the greatest season of his career he didn't make the Finals. No one does it on his own.
Piss on Bird and piss on James.
MJ is still and will always be the best ever, period.
good L vs the Blazers 13th seed
And I was wondering why Lewis died so early. That guy was good.
Haha nice job by him,but MJ hadn't even came close to reaching his peak yet.
Since the Russ trade, the Lakers are 2-1. #WeAightSon
