hard to care about the dunk contest anymore

last one that mattered was LaVine/Gordon and that was 8 years ago now, but the contest surrounding those werent great. the last time there was a sustained stretch of great dunk contests probably ended with the blake griffin/javale mcgee one in 2011. that one had several good contests leading up to it. the dwight howard one, gerald green, nate robinson/iguodala one.

Mac McClung has serious hops, it's not his fault the NBA doesn't care about their own contest. What an embarrassment for the NBA to have a G League player win their showcase event back to back. They also need to get Reggie and Kenny replaced, but they won't.
