He doesn’t give a . Dude already has a ring. He’s trying to do other things now.

That’s why I felt the Knicks should have tried to get Leonard. They can then pitch him on a paring with Irving in a year
Kyrie's ego couldn't handle the reality that Kawhi is a better player than him. And just imagine Kyrie's dad and Kawhi's uncle on the same team

Wonder if Lonzo’s ever going to reach a day when he tells his father to get lost. Guy is going to destroy his sons career.

Sold. Better deal than all the rumored offers so far
The pick alone makes it a better offer than Ingram + Kuzma.

Might not be faking but the announcement of the injury is definitely suspect.
It’s a meniscus tear; wouldn’t change anyone’s mind on a trade for him.

Will our "massive cap space" be mostly due to Kawhi being off the books? So is that the silver lining to him leaving?
Spurs would have a lot of space with our without Kawhi, but yes, that would be part of it depending on whom Kawhi gets moved for.

Will the Mavs really pay him that much? Cuban is dumb.

Didn't Lonzo have knee problems during the season last year and get a PRP injection in his knee earlier this month? I don't think they're faking this.
Or is it his ty shoes?

Jesus. I wouldn't even want to give him the MLE in this era, let alone that.

Right? Extremely overrated player. Although he'd be killer in Houston.

The timing of the Lonzo injury is very suspect.

I'm assuming the Lakers had a deal where Lonzo was going to another team for a 1st round pick to include in a Kawhi deal. Lavar got wind of it and announced the injury to kill the trade ASAP and keep Lonzo in LA.

If so, god I hope that saved the Spurs from possibly trading Kawhi to LA.
I ing love how PATFO is handling this. They are causing more strife and resentment with each passing leak.

No he wouldn't. He'd be a downgrade from Capela.

It's just like Pop's M.O.: Remember last year when LMA told he wants to be gone and he went straight up on him?
Told him he'd pack his bags for him for Durant, but they ain't getting Durant so suck it.
Same thing happening. No rush. Get as much as they can.

Isn't that exactly why Walker fell in the draft, tbh?

    Yes he did.

And his last 10 games, after already coming back from a knee injury, ... In the last one only 24 minutes.

    The nine games before that?

Like 39 minutes a game for a lottery team.

And these are the doctors and coaches and organization Kawhi trusts with his health?

Who knows exactly why he fell, but I don’t believe its considered a serious injury and he’s expected to be ready by training camp.

    Yep ...

This "Strife" has nothing to do with kawhi's "injury"

No real reason for it, though. Walker played 32 games afterwards. It might shave a year or two off the end of his career, but that’s like 15 years from now.

Right, I agree it's not serious, but it clearly caused some teams to pass on him. That was the reporting on draft night anyway.
