lebron and the spurs about play a long game of chicken tbh

if lebron goes to lakers first, the spurs lose leverage in the kawhi stuff. but if the spurs hold kawhi anyway, then lebron just wasted a season playing with scrubs while being buried in the west
PG staying in OKC just got a lot of GMs to re-think their approach. LeBron going to LA would encourage other GMs to up their offers since they know LA will be desperate to add another piece.

The only thing that would kill the Spurs leverage with Kawhi would be if the Lakers got nobody because they'd run back the same squad and have plenty of money to throw at Leonard next year.

Cheaping out on Scola hurt them badly in the 2008 WCF.
Did it? That team was ing massive with Kobe, Bynum, Gasol and Odom and affected shots; Manu, Parker and Duncan all shot poorly which also affected the role players. Not sure Scola would've helped.

It would have been nice to have someone other than Duncan who could put some pressure on Gasol, Bynum, and Odom inside. I don't think they would have beaten Boston but they weren't that far behind LA that year.

Forbes is gone I think. No way they bring him back. White is a better option
White and Beli are both better but bet they extend him a QA and let it drag out until August before cutting him loose.

    Duncan; 22.5 ppg, 17.5 rpg, 5 apg, 2 spg, 2 bpg,

but shot 42% from the field and 59% from the line on almost 9 attempts per game. Spurs lost Game 1, 4 and 5 by 4 points, 2 points and 8 points,

in game 1 he missed 4 free throws, 4 more in game 4, and 5 in game 5. Had Duncan shot closer to 80-85% from the line the Spurs may have won two of those 3 games including that game one where the Spurs blew a big lead.

I think that Lakers team was more talented while the Spurs were poorly matched and also tired after a grueling series vs the Hornets and coming off another deep playoff run the year before.

Magic in panic mode. Superteam slipping one-by-one. would LeBron want to play with Cousins?

Say what you want about PG's decision (i think it's dumb AF).

But holy , how did the Lakers this up? So many things going in their favor:
    -Magic the savior
-OKC being one of the worst cities/states in America
-George being one of the most Hollywood players in the league
    -Hyped up young players
-The chance to play with LeBron!
-Westbrook being one of the worst teammates in the league
-The Thunder getting ing Jingled in the 1st round
-FatMelo still on the team, another cancerous teammate
-PG signing the same 4 year contract that LA could have offered

In the end, all it took was a few watering holes, fried catfish and some bomb meth for PG to tell Magic and Rob to go themselves

The worst part is such a historic franchise begging with billboards and leaking that gay-ass script pitch

I thought the Dwight begging was bad, this one was even worse..

If LeBron goes to Lakers it's about lifestyle at this point not winning championships. His NBA Finals streak is definitely coming to an end if Magic inks him. PG staying in OKC, CP3 staying with Houston. Cousins and LeBron is basically worse than what he has in Cleveland with Love.

If LeBron wants to win that leaves OKC, Spurs, Philly or Boston.

I have legit inside info that all of the Pelicans players hate Boogie. It's no surprise they played their best ball of the season as soon as he tore his achilles.

I guarantee there is nobody wishing that Magic maxes Boogie more than Dell Demps right now tbh
