Do you think they make WCFs without him tbh?
Rockets will go down in history as the dynasty that never was. Basically the Houston Clippers.

Yep yep. I think he'll do well in H-town, offensively. Defensively?

Yeah of course not defensively. Now I guess the next question is will he come off the bench?

    WTF are the Hawks doing?

"That's a complicated deal, but it ultimately frees Anthony up to choose a new team. He was set to make $27.9 million from the Thunder next season, but the Hawks are footing the bill to let him walk."

I doubt it for 2 reasons. 1) he wouldn't do it in OKC and 2) you guys will need the firepower since your perimeter defenders are weak now.

He should come off the bench but he won't.

Firepower? What firepower? The Warriors will happily leave Melo wide open to chuck bricks.

James Ennis seems to be a good pickup and defender. So does their 2nd round pick Melton. But we will see.

Dont think he has a lot left but im pretty sure if you gave him all of the # pt FGA's missed by Ariza and Mtue especially in g ame 7 Melo hits more of those so on offense its an upgrade.
CP3 is working on getting him in shape (according to reports) so how is this not a "win"?
Defense last year for Rox was an aberration Mike D always wanted an offense first team, anyways.

YOu let HArrell, Pat bev, Ariza mtue walk and wont pony up for Capela so ths focus is on offense.

Took on the salary for a pick. Plus they dumped Schroder's salary.

Capela wants 100 million. Before ponying that up he has to show he can make his free throws first. Jeff B is the defensive guy thats what helped the Rockets on D last season. But yeah. Melo on a one yr deal at the minimum is hard to pass up. Beverley was always hurt. Luc Mah Mbute's shoulder is still messed up. There was real concern about that. And Ariza. 15 mil was alot for him.

Not advocating the spending just saying I do expect to see some defensive slippage.
Bit honestly top of west is overrated.
Maybe OKC can make a jump but I think State is the clear # 1 and yall the clear #2
The #3 spot to me can be any of Utah, OKC, portland etc.
But none of those teams scare me.
Obviously I still need to see Lakers play but I puts us anywehere between 3-6 Im guessing probably 5th but could see Lakers tanking for sixth if that is a better matchup ...

That's how many years since you've won a playoff game.
