Honestly Lakers are a lock for the WCF tbh imho, taking GSW to 6 or 7.

Players like Kuzma, Pope and Hart will thrive immensely from the perimeter with LeBron running the offense. Also, this will be one of the few times in LeBron career that he has a legit playmaker in Lonzo that allows LeBron to rest and the game won't get out of hand. Ingram is a competent and willing passed too and will take the leap this season on the way to s om.

Dubs will eventually disband, even if one stars leaves that will be enough of a open for the Lakers to come in and ring. Now ask yourself, what other team do you see challenging the Lakers besides the Dubs. There will be no one good enough. If Kiwi comes home it's legit over for the nba. Lakeshow back baby.

The Lakers are my dark horse pick to eliminate the Warriors the moment they signed Lebron and Rondo. Like I said, if Hosuston was the bar, you’re going to have a tough time convincing me they’re not as talented as the Rockets. Playoff Lebron and Rondo> Harden/CP3 and the Lakers have tons of depth as opposed to D’Antoni’s 7 man rotation.

    Ruh-roh, LeGM in 5,4,3...
ingram, rondo, lebron, zo...lance if you count him.
we don't need 4-5 players that can create plays for others. 20 offensive rebounds last night.
we're hurting for a big man.

It’s too early to proclaim it as such. That’s my prediction and I’ll stick with it.

Nope, upsets do happen in the playoffs. Again, the Rockets suffered a historic collapse and an injury away from beating the Warriors. This Lakers team is far more talented with 2 players known to elevate their games in the postseason...

    "A historic collapse"

Let's not pretend like the Rockets and especially Frauden don't choke in the playoffs every year. It's just what they do. It's not "historic," it's routine.

And we've already seen what LeBron+scrubs can do against the Warriors in a playoff series. Great stats for LeBron and zero chance of winning the series.

    Far more talented

you would be hard pressed to convince me that the Lakers second best player is better than Gordon or Capella at this point

I’d take Lebron and Rondo over Harden and CP3, that’s for sure.

    7/44

15.9% on both FT and 3FG.

    That’s a historic collapse

One glaring omission. That Rockets team was a capable defensive team.

Nevermind the fact that the Lakers missed on a rare opportunity to draft a Superstar (Tatum, ahem*) but what’s more embarrassing is they also skipped on Fox. Let’s face it, Lavar bamboozled Magic.

zo was intriguing out of college, what bothers me about him is the fact that he's so passive at times. zo would be great in the 90's but you need a scoring point guard to keep defense honest in today's game.

I'd say what you should be bothered about, is the fact that he needs tony allen levels of offensive respect, to not look like tony allen on offense.

LeBron the GM is terrible and unfortunately for him, the alternative to make the moves is the Pelinka/Aids duo

Rondo on a team with Lonzo

Not only that. How could you use the rest of your cap on guys like, Caldwell-Pope, Beasley and Lance.

KCP wasn't a basketball move, it was a good look for Klutch Sports..
