Grizzlies have won 6 of their last 7, Kyle averaging 34 MPG and 2nd on the team in on/off metrics during that stretch..they're finally putting the ball in his hands after a poor start to the season, averaging 4 APG in the past 7..

The usual 8 RPG + a steal and a block per, looks great..never going to be a good scorer, but they're beginning to use him correctly..
Spurs were robbed in broad daylight!

I confused all 3 of Forbes,White and Anderson. All of them have giant craniums but tbh, I rather have Kyle than Patty or Bertans. At least Kyle is playable on a 47 wins team while Bertan can't even see the court on a team going lottery.
I'm convinced Pop has a hard on for guys with big foreheads.

The Spurs robbed themselves, again. They made it about money when it came to keeping Anderson, while throwing $millions away on several others, as has been mentioned so often in this forum.

No, letting Anderson go was the correct move for the Spurs..I'm a big fan, but I actually wouldn't want him in my starting lineup, he's too complicated of a fit..

Good to see him starting to adjust well in Memphis, though..

Kyle's teammates must love him, he only works his ass on the court and does not like to shoot

    True.
I didn't want to build a second shrine bc frankly people still hate on me for being a fan, but all these Kyle Anderson threads after he joined the Grizzlies are started by other fans here and I seldom bring him up except within the context of threads like this. If he was playing awful and the Grizzlies were tanking again, you just know there would be a hate thread after hate thread about him here. He's living rent free more on his haters minds than fans.

Heck people are still crying over Dedmon and Simmons, and meanwhile Kyle and Green, better players in good teams the trolldom is just cheering that they are gone. It's tiring. It's really tiring to read so much asinine stupidity about him.

Kind of cheering for the Grizz to kick the Spurs behind. Not just bc the Grizz are playing well and deserve it, but bc the Spurs are really awful right now and really, really need to rebuild and tank. Killing 2 birds with one stone.

There was also another one were Freak spinning passed Anderson and dunked as well.
    Charging.

If that was Durant on defense The Freak would be suspended.

Eh, if Anderson weren't such a pussy when it comes to scoring he's probably still be a Spur.

This was his best game for the Spurs, tbh... he basically let Rudy Gay do whatever he wanted. He basically kept us in the game.

Anderson's 9pts and 9 rebs was much better than Cunningham or Forbes, tho. Kyle dam near had a double-double.

It was a disastrous off-season for the Spurs. Losing Kawhi, Green, and Anderson and replacing them with bad defenders like Derozan and Bellinelli. Needing to play scrub journeyman like Cunningham 30 mpg to offset the bad defense.

    That Kyle Anderson reaction
Was caught ballwatching... upset with himself and he should be.

Would never have been allowed that in the Spurs. For that show of emotion would probably be sent to the Gleague. Lol

Honestly with how bad the team is this year, they should consider raising a banner that says:

    "Didn't Re-Sign Fat-head or Porky"
    -Summer '18

Scub? It's laughable that we chose to let go of a starting player for a specialist in Bertans. And to say he is a bad defender. Last night, down the stretch, crunch time, Gay iso him up. Grizzlies bench was up, clapping, cheering, encouraging Anderson to stop him one on one. No help defense. Just good one on one defense. And he did.

as much as I'm glad he's gone, he did have a key block on Aldridge late at the rim when he should have been attempting to dunk ball.

This is the comparison for resigning Anderson. Bertans. ing useless Bertans. The FO made the completely wrong choice here. I'm not a huge fan of KA, but he has utility and does multiple things, plus would be instantly our best perimeter defender. Bertans can't even shoot the ing ball that well.

the point is not if we should have signed Kyle but if we could afford to sign both...as I would have done. I don't know if the fact that we have not signed both has depended on the refuse of Bertans to sign the 4 years 20 millions (5 a year) preferring the 2 years 14 millions (seven a year)...maybe salary tax reasons?
