You're shrewd to duck that one, kw, but you've given us a few clues.
Do you think Trump should follow the law?
You're shrewd to duck that one, kw, but you've given us a few clues.
duck what? of course the laws should be followed even by trump.
My bad, good on you for saying so.
Ex-Sheila Jackson-Lee Staffer Gets 4-Years In Prison For Doxing Republicans

Michigan AG Dana Nessel protecting child predators from "vigilantes". Good watch
Media trying to scare off future whistle blowers with the headline. She wasn't convicted of anything for doxxing. She was convicted for real crimes.
Er, some of it was doxxing related.
Don't disagree other crimes were mentioned too.
so the practice of doxxing is illegal you don't say? hmmm...
Oregon State police advise Dems trying to pass a cap and trade bill to stay away from the OR Senate, citing a credible threat of violence from paramiltary militia groups planning to meet there tomorrow.
Oregon GOP senators, hiding out in Idaho to deny a quorum, refer to the militia groups as "Republican voters"
https://www.wweek.com/news/state/201...ng-at-capitol/
Are you uninformed or purposely being disingenuous? Why are Oregon senators in Idaho?
Staffer was convicted of doxxing?
Yes or no.
Eleven Republican senators walked out of the Oregon Capitol on Thursday to block a vote on a climate bill. The bill has already passed the Oregon House and was expected to easily pass in the Senate, where Democrats hold a supermajority. But without at least two of the Republicans who left, there wasn’t a quorum to hold a vote.
Peggy Boquist, wife of GOP Sen. Brian Boquist of Dallas, 15 miles west of Salem, told CNN that the 11 senators are together out of state.
“They all left and are in Idaho. I don’t have a way of contacting him,” Peggy Boquist said.

the choice of Idaho as a refuge is on brand
is this not doxxing?Cosko pleaded guilty in April to two counts of making public restricted personal Information
MW: Dox - slang : to publicly identify or publish private information about (someone) especially as a form of punishment or revenge
Google: Dox - search for and publish private or identifying information about (a particular individual) on the Internet, typically with malicious intent.
Was it a matter of revenge or malicious intent, right? Was it even a matter of being personal, or was it simply vigilantism? The media chooses certain loaded words for a reason. Are you unaware of this?
Not at all, but the usage seems to be not just accurate in this case, but spot on.
The Texas Eleven pulled a similar stunt in 2003 an ultimately doomed attempt to prevent the midstream redistricting.

Your article fails to mention Brown threatened them with arrest if they walked out and when they did authorized state police to arrest the GOP senators. That’s why they are in Idaho.
So were you uninformed or purposely being disingenuous?
I was aware of the the threat of arrest from another story, but I'm not sure what the big deal is. The power of sergeants at arms to compel lawmakers to do their jobs is historically well-founded, though seldom used.
The Texas GOP threatened the Texas Eleven with arrest in 2003, even sent the Texas Rangers after them. The Dems did hide out for a spell, but they didn't threaten to shoot the state police, like Sen Boquist
Is it your contention, TSA, that state Sergeants-at-Arms have no power to compel lawmakers to attend?
Feel free to change your soggy drawers before you answer that, you're off to a pathetic start ITT.
