Long time until February tbh. I remember arsenal won their group and drew Bayern a couple of years ago because they were crap before Christmas.

Roma and Porto have to be the two happiest teams in the draw.
Look for Neymar rolling around for at least 10 minutes a foul against man united.

I think Liverpool are going to annihilate Bayern. Van Dijk is suspended for the first leg at Anfield, and Pool tend to the bed in away matches but this is the worst Bayern team in over 5 years.

True, but we're banking on a lot of what ifs and maybe's here. There are a lot of pieces of the puzzle that need to fall in place for Atleti. Apart from form - which has been absolutely disgustingly bad this year - it's mostly the injury and fitness. We're in December and the team has already had to deal with 29 injuries, and most of them were muscle injuries as well. That does not bode well.
A lot of players, up until now, either don't have it right now (Saúl has been one of the worst players this season), don't have it anymore (Godín has been awful and is a walking error waiting to happen) or never had it to begin with (who on earth thought it was a good idea to spend €70 million for Lemar...?). Atleti will need Godín and Diego Costa to be healthy and in top form, that's not something I'd like to bet my house on at the moment. Same applies, in lesser extent, to Filipe, Lucas and Josema Gimenez.
A lot can change in two/three months, and if one guy is able to pull it off it's Cholo, but as of right now, I fear things are looking rather bleak against a Juve team that hasn't been as impressive as anticipated either, but does have the luxury of already having the league in the bag and being able to rest their stars when they want.

Firmino regressed but this is a much better liverpool team. Just better defensively and significantly more options off the bench. Keita, Shaqiri have both played great as a sub.
They've been tons of games with Salah playing the 9 and firmino off the bench mid 2nd half.

A lot of that has to do with firmino regressing. Has forced klopp to play salah at the 9 way too many times.
Firminio seems to be playing much deeper this year by design. I do agree he isn't as potent as last season, but it does seem like him playing behind Salah has hurt his scoring.
