remember... the Seattle Oakland game is in England... no black hole. OAK is among the worst teams in the league. Seattle was a 4th and 1 stop away from beating by far the best team in the world.

It was their Superbowl, and they blew their wad and lost. I see a let down game while Oakland is coming off their bye week and "should" be ready.
This is a huge week for our bet. Somehow, BUF has 2 wins and I have no idea how. If they beat HOU on the road then hats off to them.
Oakland is not coming off of a bye.
my bad...I had zero recollection of them playing. Even after looking back itt and finding the matchup I'm drawing a complete blank.
It's at London, so probably more Seattle/Wilson fans than Brokeland. Not the Link but it's a neutral site at best for the Gruden Grindrs.
The Rams loss wasn't their SB, either, it's who they are... roughly 10-6 and a potential wild card. They have a really strong running game this year and Wilson can still throw a beautiful deep ball. Their defense is what it is, middling with the L.O.B. duo on IR never to return, their pass protection is still below average. They are what they are, a surefire 2nd fiddle in a division with the best team in football and two bottom feeders.
teams get their bye AFTER the London game, not before. It's always been that way.

7-7 going into MNF.
9-5 going into Monday.
My last minute change was Washington to Carolina. A really stupid move on my part.
Gambling on a Tennessee upset was dumb on my part as well. The least surprising shutout of all time.
The rest was just hindsight being 20/20 although Jacksonville scoring 7 points isn't really that shocking.
i know need to stop picking the raiders every week at this point, they're killing me. but its bad juju to go against my team, so ima keep doing it
but 8-6 going into monday night
the redskins are such an interesting team... i think they're going to pull off a lot of sneaky wins against good teams
but they're going to struggle against any offense that can get on the board early (showed against indy and more notably, new orleans). the skins might be the worst team in the league playing from behind. alex smith has never been a good comeback QB and the skins lack anything resembling reliable weapons down the field. their only good receivers are reed/davis, crowder and chris thompson. all are short yardage, over the middle types.
but any time the game is close, tied, or the skins are leading, they can just feed adrian peterson who is actually having a pretty good year. the more they get him the ball, the better they'll be. and their D is not as bad as New Orleans made it look
11-4

I need to stop picking the stupid Colts. How can a team with the 4th best QB in the league be so bad?
