Because there isn't enough evidence to justify an FBI investigation. Waste of time. This behavior should not be encouraged. Again, if he did this, AND the FBI can uncover it, and you are SO sure of that, then just wait, he's not going anywhere. Lifetime appointment. The mileage the democrats could get over Senators putting an actual rapist on the court, despite their protests, would rival Watergate repercussions. I, as a conservative, am willing to take the risk. I am convinced, based on the utter lack of evidence or corroboration, that the charges are baseless.

Monday morning, a local paper in Montgomery County, Maryland, reported that police there are examining another allegation from the 1980s.
At this rate he should stop trying for SCOTUS and seek the Republican nomination for president.

He's flawed because he's a partisan s bag who claims presidents shouldn't be under investigation even though he was part of Ken Starr's team that went after Clinton. I have no idea if the sexual assault allegations are true or not but they wouldn't surprise me given his lack of character. I hope they completely derail his confirmation and force our Dear Leader to move on to someone else.

Seems to me like the only metric for how believable you find a woman's claim is whether the person who did the raping or assault was a Republican.

In 2009 Republicans had plausible deniability that they weren't a nationalist party and were instead a conservative party. After they elected Trump by a landslide over conservatives like Cruz and Kasich it's plain as day though. They elected a guy whose entire early campaign was about scary anti-war government nig's birth certificate and whose later campaign was about Mexicans being rapists and all other kinds of openly racist . The Republicans in congress may not be a nationalist bloc yet but the voters sure are so the representatives are going to start following suit as long as Trump is wildly popular with the GOP base.
