To repeat, Renate Dolphin interpreted the yearbook comments to be horrible and insulting and a seeming reference to her promiscuity — not how Kavanaugh claims they were intended.

I’m not sure if Sasse counts a swing vote, but he’s also not not a swing vote, and his argument seems to be, “Sure, Dr. Ford is a victim, but Democrats sprung this at the last minute so let’s vote to confirm Kavanaugh.”

Tremendous victory for Trump nigas
probably his biggest victory since obliterating lery
DING
Steady decline since the 1960s. Freefall in the 2000s.

Kavanaugh: I'm and I like beer:
John Clawd Van Damn!!
I disagree on tone. If you are accused of attempted rape and other sex crimes, you come angry and defensive. I thought his opening struck the right tone of righteous indignation. I think some of his responses to the questioning have had the wrong tone. I get that he is angry, but being belligerent does make it look like you are avoiding answering the questions.
Of course, I think he is probably doing enough to get to a vote and I think that vote will be quick and painful for some red state Democrats and some blue state Republicans. Hard to see if he gets confirmed at this point, but I do think he's gone in with nothing to lose and is assuming he'll lose at confirmation.
Im out of beer here nigas. Gotta go get some today ASAP
Senator takes Trump to court over Kavanaugh
Sen. Jeff Merkley (D-OR) has filed suit against Donald Trump, as well as, among others, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA), the National Archives, and the Bush operative who is screening Kavanaugh’s records, Bill Burck, in federal court in D.C.
Merkley’s alleging that the
White House has interfered with senators’ role in confirmation by withholding do ents.
It’s a separation of powers violation, he argues, in that
the executive branch is keeping the legislature from its cons utionally mandated responsibility to provide “advice and consent.”
Senator Merkley has been injured by being prevented from performing the cons utional duty that he swore to perform when he took the oath of office.
This case arises from the direct and substantial interference by President Trump and other agents of the executive branch in the ability of the Senate to examine the record and evaluate the fitness of Judge Brett Kavanaugh,
the President’s nominee for a lifetime appointment as an Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States.

Jumping from one side to the other is thirsty business.
This is definitely a heterosexual male
She laughing at him...just like his wife did on their wedding night
You'd definitely let him rape your daughter.
I think he is a broken wrist got for sure.
Why did the democrats pick the stupidest senators to chair this???
Being defensive isn't the most convincing way to respond to an issue like this. It makes you look like you're hiding stuff, especially when, yanno, you're clearly hiding stuff.
He was terrible in his own defense. He was furious, particularly with women questioning him, which is ing terrible when it's reviewed in the short/medium-term, he's clearly lied at least a few times about what went down in high school and college, and his repeated responses of, "I was captain of my sports team" are just absurd.
You would seriously think a guy who's about to sit in the highest office in the land would have a far better grasp of the optics of how he's going to come across. He sounds like a guy with anger management issues, he sounds like a guy who got completely schwasted in high school and doesn't have a clear memory of what's happening.
The contrast between how accurately he perceives 1983 and how poorly he remembers decisions he's passed down as a judge in a prominent court, well into his adult years, are ing astonishing. IF he's being truthful, he's probably the only person I've ever known that remembers how alcohol-fueled parties full of booze and inebriation went down more clearly than decisions he's made in his career that he undoubtedly researched, ruminated on, and wrote extensively about.
Does that difference not strike you as a major blow to his credibility?
Man wtf is this goofy ass frat boy talking about lmao.
Back to the face tics
he needs another break!
Lying Ted crying for Dr Ford
