Battle Arena Toshinden - was a groundbreaking game
Cool Boarders 2 - I had fun with it, but not sure if it should be included
Destruction Derby - the destruction system was revolutionary at the time
Driller - What the is this?
    Final Fantasy VII - no
Grand Theft Auto - Grand Theft Auto what? III?
    Intelligent Qube - Garbage
Jumping Flash - was included on the demo disc for the early shipments of PS1. Was technologically impressive, however only the demo was needed
Metal Gear Solid - the first 5 minutes of the game was all I needed to be instantly hooked to the series
Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee - great game, however will be hard to play after getting used to the remake
    Rayman - trash
Resident Evil Director's Cut - The one that started it all
    Revelations: Persona - trash
Ridge Racer Type 4 - Ridge Racer should have been chosen.. I remember the disc wasn't needed to play after it loaded so I returned the game to blockbuster and kept my PS1 on for 2 more days to keep playing
Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo - trash
Syphon Filter - loved Syphon Filter
Tekken 3 - Should have been Tekken 2
Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six - meh.. Dreamcast version was so much better
Twisted Metal - oh yeah, my first game I bought, 100% because of the box art and description on back.. Turned out to be the favorite game for me and all my friends to play
    Wild Arms - trash

Because of the size of the ISO's I doubt extra games being added will be an option too.. ePSX FTW

I used to love it.. but nobody else was willing to tolerate the graphics, and I assume a ton of people out there felt the same about it (and the London one that came out soon after).. GTA III on the other hand was a bonafide system seller

Edit: I forgot GTA III was PS2, so nevermind

Could be if you delete all the games. Then you'd have room for at least 15 good games.

Wild arms is a decent game but its fanbase didnt survive.

Suikoden 2 would have been the perfect game since its the only ps1 masterpiece that I can think off that aged really well.

Game list looks like complete dog tbh. No Suikoden, no Castlevania SoTN, no Final Fantasy Tactics, no Medievil, no Spyro, no Street Fighter Alpha, no Tony Hawk Pro Skater, no Breath of Fire, no Alundra, no Lunar, no Driver, neither Persona 2, no Vagrant Story, no Tenchu, no Crash Bandicoot, no Legend of Dragoon, no Chrono Cross, I mean what the ? These are the 20 games:

    Battle Arena Toshinden
    Cool Boarders 2
    Destruction Derby
    Driller
    Final Fantasy VII
    Grand Theft Auto
    Intelligent Qube
    Jumping Flash
    Metal Gear Solid
    Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee
    Rayman
    Resident Evil Director's Cut
    Revelations: Persona
    Ridge Racer Type 4
    Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo
    Syphon Filter
    Tekken 3
    Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six
    Twisted Metal
    Wild Arms

So we get the garbage Battle Arena Toshinden which may be the fighting game that has aged worst over time, a Grand Theft Auto game that's only there because of the popularity of its sequels, the wrong Twisted Metal game, and the wrong Persona game.
Man....If they did a JRPG with the les you mentioned above I'd overpay for one of those bad boys. Chrono Cross

Rainbow Six has to be the most random inclusion here. It totally screams filler.

This piece of just keeps getting worse and worse. Nine of the the twenty games are going to be 50 fps PAL versions. Namely, Battle Arena Toshinden, Cool Boarders 2, Destruction Derby, Grand Theft Auto, Jumping Flash, Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee, Resident Evil Director's Cut, Tekken 3, and Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six will all be PAL versions on the US Playstation Classic.

For $100 you could easily buy a hackable PS3, put 4.82 firmware on, and then custom firmware. From Multiman (in CFW) then you can run any PS1 rom off the hard drive or even a USB flash drive. Another good option for PS1 games is a Raspberry Pi 3, but the Dualshock 3 runs like crap on it (the XBox 360 controller with a generic Chinese adapter is great though). And it's kind of a pain to go into every game and switch configuration between the digital controller and the Dualshock. But it runs PS1 games beautifully. Of the two I consider the PS3 the far easier option but the Raspberry Pi is tiny and won't take up a lot of space.

LOL this garbage has dropped to $60 (at Best Buy). Even after hacking this system is terrible for PS1 gaming though. The PS3 absolutely destroys it for playing PS1 games.

PS1 was the first console i ever owned, and even nostalgia can't get me to pretend it was that good. definitely not good enough to go back and buy a classic/legacy version of it.

the graphics on those games have also aged terribly, unlike N64

PS2 though... that i'd go for.

N64 graphics aged pretty badly too. Not as horribly as PS1, but Ocarina of Time at 20 fps on a modern TV is painful. Also PS1 had lots of great 2D games that have aged really well while N64 didn't. Everything N64 is polygonal ugly first gen 3D. But N64's 3D games definitely look better than PS1's.

n64 was held back a bit because of cartridges, but that also meant they had virtually no loading screens. imo just a much more fun console overall than ps1. ps2 blew its compe ion out of the water, and playstation has been king ever since imo

Depends what kind of games you like. I'm big into RPGs and N64 didn't have anything worthwhile there. It was massively held back by cartridges, which is why they lost the Final Fantasy series as well as the Crono series and the Breath of Fire series.
