White might be better than Murray, tbh. I wonder if Pop ever plays them both, with White at the 2.
I think White is a much more natural point guard and scorer, Murray the better defender. They can complement each other well.

yup. I liked that. MIP candidate if he continues that well. Also we didn't see the one handed floater from 15 feet and such, instead he went to his jumpshot. Another thing, liked that drive he had in transition. He had about 2-3 minutes of play where he made several impressive plays.
Very good point. A proper shot, than a shot put.

Pondexter and Eubanks really that bad? They didn't show up in the highlights so I couldn't tell.

Kind of I guess. But I don’t get why they didn’t let him handle the ball more. He’s probably our best playmaker as of now so I’m not sure why the team wasn’t experimenting with that. I guess that will happen in the later preseason games when rotations start shaping up.

Impressed with Poeltl and Gay. Murray looks a legit starter out there. Demar did facilitate in a quite a few plays and that’ll be his major role for the team I suppose.

    Hey, dudes.

Bigtime Jazz fan here (I know, I hate myself too.)

Anyway, I'm a big University of Utah fan and love Poeltl. Having Pop coach him and Duncan work with him, I can't help but think how he's going to exceed many of your expectations. The kid has a solid all around game and if he gets a little confidence, who knows where his limit will be. I'm for sure going to follow him this year.

    Yes, sir. Thank you, sir.

    Thank you, brother.

If anyone of you are ever in Utah maybe we could grab a root beer together or you could keep one of my eight wives company? (These types of jokes never get old, eh?)

Anyway, back to Poeltl. Get ready for him to show that he's a lil more than a stiff.
Dude is going to be a double double machine and a Pop fav.

Oh, Poeltl. He's my Austrian Hammer.

Rudy will shoot better from 3 this year. He was hitting outside shots with much confidence in those Drew League games with DeMar. I say that will carry over to this season for sure.

Whether he starts or not Rudy is going to be key this season. Murray's still growing as an offensive player, and we've yet to see consistency from Bertans and the other guys; there appears to be no one else better suited for the role of 3rd scorer.

Here's praying that 32- year- old body holds up.

Cool Archie! I watched him for the first time today and he looked great. Involved, focused, and skilled. He held his own on the boards against one of the NBA's best.

After watching the highlights, the thing that I was most impressed with for a preseason game was the ball movement. When the ball moved, the Spurs scored.

    Just prove it!

He doesn't have the jumping out of the gym athleticism of Walker or the defensive talent of Murray, but he definitely is a lot more basketball skills that these other two.

Tony Parker didn't have a lot of athleticism and he's a future HOF. Very promising. I hope he learned a lot from Parker from last year.

BTW, did you notice that he blocked as shot on one of Miami's centers? His lack of athleticism and length is deceptive. He's been known to block a lot of shots.

Typical 1st preseason game after 3 or 4 practices with Pop trying out everyone except LW 4.

Lots of turnovers. But, I think by mid-season we're going to be a pretty good team. JMHO
