300bucks is still expensive man, u can still get a iphone7-8 for t hat price if you shop around...

even better if you know a friend that works at apple, can get like employee discount 10-15% (retailers only give out like 5% max)
if ur traveling overseas within the month, go claim the tax at the airport usually around 10%...

For starters... an Apple fanboi talking about $300 as being a lot of money.

I have an iPhone 7 for work. It's terrible. The F1 has like 50% more screen real estate. I wouldn't even put them on the same tier, plus the iPhone is gonna be used. I got my iPhone new and the battery is already a dumpster fire, I use it for 40 minutes of GPS and the battery drops 35% on it.

    Pocophone >>>>>>>>>>>>>> iPhone 7.

Problem with all these Chinese phones is that not all the LTE bands work with US providers, and they also already got caught sending out personal data to the mothership. Not to mention that Google already does that with Android (and everything else) itself.

That said, I feel the mobile arena kinda topped out a couple years ago. People do need to replace their phones here and there because they do wear and tear, but it's largely a race to the bottom at this point. It already happened with mobile software, will likely happen with hardware relatively soon too.

If any of these "budget" phones worked on Sprint, I'd be willing to give them a try.

Every company does it, my young friend, but not as badly and blatantly as google(except maybe facebook). When a company is so ing awful at it that people are switching search engines in droves to like duckduckgo and their phone os is basically AIDS in your pocket, you can't defend it. Do a news search for "apple privacy" and "google privacy" and just look at the results. Why do you think so many gunmen and active shooters have iphones? The govt can barely hack that without ing it up

The smartphone biz peaked years ago and everyone is in a race for the gutter.

Apple.. doesn't believe in restricting the end user through proprietary crap, would NEVER overcharge the customer because of trendy glowing Apple logos on the device, and would under zero cir stances ever gather and/or sell customer data. That's why I love Apple So much more honorable than every other company out there

Using an example of an active shooter to justify the need for privacy What are people doing on the Internet to be so worried about? Only pedophiles and weirdos care that deeply

Maybe Apple isn't as bad as Google and Facebook, but that doesn't make it right

When you see selling for 1/10th the price of anybody else, you're the product, not the phone. You can all you want about Fapple, but they put their money where they mouth in that Cali shooting, just fighting off for everybody's privacy.

If it were up to Facebook, they'll happily subsidize a free phone, tbh...

And yes, Apple will allow access to iCloud under a lawful order, but users can and will disable iCloud. Google is deceitful as on that. You turn off "Location history" and it actually does not turn it off, lolz (see: https://www.cnbc.com/2018/08/13/how-...n-history.html).

You can get third party repair, it just voids your warranty.
