There are roughly 312 million people in the United States. There are Roughly 357 million guns. There are Approximately 32,000 deaths per year from firearms. 60% are Suicides. That is 19,220 3% are Accidental. That is 960. 4% are justified. That is 1,200 33% are Homicides. That is 10,560. 80% of those Homicides are Gang related. That is 8,488. That leaves 1,713 in a society of 312 million people. That gives you a 0.010256410256% chance of death by gun. A 0.008564% chance if you don't hang out in the hood not planning a crime and not planning on committing suicide. The United States Does Not have a Gun problem.

    "Should it be judged...

that the defendant has failed to cooperate fully, has intentionally given false, misleading or incomplete information or testimony...

the defendant will not be released from his pleas of guilty

Paul Manafort may know it's over--he gave up his law license

we may have gotten a sign that Paul Manafort—or should we say, Pavel Manafort or Pasha Manafort—knows he isn’t getting a pardon from Trump. It turns out that he was a licensed attorney in his home state of Connecticut. That is, until Thursday, when he surrendered that license rather than face all-but-certain disbarment.

the jailed Trump associate effectively forfeited in a misconduct case against him and waived his right to be readmitted to the Connecticut bar.

Resistance Committee Action Fund executive director J. Whitfield Larrabee filed a complaint with the Connecticut Bar contending that Manafort’s misdeeds made him unfit to practice law.

Read the complaint here. Larrabee, who is a practicing attorney in the Boston area, has

filed similar motions against Trump cronies like Jeff Sessions and Pam Bondi.

Combined with the fact that Manafort’s plea deal is effectively pardon proof,

it’s hard not to see that Manafort realized he was screwed eighty ways to Sunday.

It’s not hard to conclude that Paulie/Pavel/Pasha has realized that

he is likely going to be a decrepit old man if he ever gets out of prison.

Manafort tried to pack Trump administration with handpicked allies—evenafter being indicted

Former Trump campaign chair and convicted felon Paul Manafort worked through unknown
    intermediaries

during the Trump transition phase to place people in the new administration, according to
    a new court filing Tuesday.

Rick Gates knew about Manafort's efforts to place people in the Trump administration, and

described the hiring scheme to special counsel Robert Mueller.

Manafort maintained contact with these “mystery” intermediaries into early 2018,

    well past when he was
originally indicted by Mueller in October 2017.

The special counsel sought another delay in Gates' sentencing,

    noting that he "c
ontinues to cooperate with respect to several ongoing investigations."

Manafort appears to the ultimate criminal slimebag.
